James Bond 007: Nightfire is, I would put, a good game.

The story line is quite plausable, someone takes nukes, threatens the world, James Bond must stop him, does. Just like any other Bond film. The characters are very well done, and noone is really alike (except the thugs or soldiers that all look the same). The plot is twisting and takes you a fair distance around the world. The missions themselves are interesting, varying tasks need to be done, and there are a few optimum routes. The equipment is also interesting, the usual gadgets from Q, the laser, the electrifying car keys and so on. The guns and weopons vary, from futuristic to tradition 007. Pistols, Uzis, Grenades, there are many.

I am pleased with the mulitplayer. However, there is a lack of large levels, and most of them are confined and poorly set out, making things too obvious and too easy to know like the back of your hand. The multiplayer characters are quite lacking too, but aside from the storyline characters, you can use past friend and foe, such as Oddjob (you can use his hat!) and Pussy Galore. The weopons don't vary from the ones featured on the storyline and the gadgets are non-existant. But it can be quite good for a quick multiplayer warm up for a better game.

This game can be completed quickly and doesn't have a long life span, espescially if you're by yourself. Good graphics don't make up for this and you'd better just trade it in once you've finished. Very good in the short term, but not in the long term.
