SUMMARY:
Air Force Delta Storm is an amazing game. It is instantly addictive even if you'r not a fan of flight sims you will still be hooked. You will play for hours along this great storyline! There are too many planes to count and about 98% of them are real! Some of the levels are easy but when you get to one of the good ones you know it. The music could have been better but almost everything else in the game is flawless. AFDS's only weapons are bullets and missles, but the games length, just to beat it and get a fair amount of planes, well makes up for the weapons throw in some KICK *ss planes, and you've got one of the best flight sim out! People all you need to do is cross your fingers and hope for a sequel.

General/Summary: This is an awesome airplane game! It excelent graphics, very good gameplay, and very good sound. If your a fan of airplane games then you've just got to own this game. Unfortunatly it isn't perfect though...
Gameplay: Very good gameplay but not perfect. The waypoint missions that you have to accomplish at first seem good, but as you progress through the game to different waypoints you'll find that they are almost exact copies of other ones. And I have also found that if you don't lock-on to an enemy or even a freindly target and launch the missle, even if it hits the target directly, it will go right through the target not harming it one bit. I couldn't believe there was such a big bug to this great game. You can also go right through enemy aircrafts and still both you and the enemy aircraft are unharmed!

Graphics: Excelent graphics, but also not perfect. The explosions look very fake and the hills and mountains don't look that real. But the planes...

THE GOOD:
The graphics are good, the realism, the planes, and the complete accuracy of the game. And that nifty interface. The plane models are the real bread-and-butter. The accuracy is superb, and they fly realistically.

THE BAD:
Some missions can get excessively hard, and sometimes its hard to turn. The controls are a little wonky, but what you'd expect.

SUMMARY:
Overall a great game for the Xbox. Similar to the PS2 game Ace Combat 4. A lot of games seem to be taken from PS2 games (SegaGT2002- Gran Turismo 3 A-spec, Air Force Delta Storm- Ace Combat 4). But aren't all flying games the same? It would have scored higher, except that it intorduces little to the Flying games genre. Not enough missions, either, but a good game for the price. Missions are easy to believe- real-life situations. None of that " Destroy the enemy before they destroy the world with ancient technology ".

THE GOOD:
Graphics, unique gameplay, feel of the aircraft, missions, level ups, allmost everything

THE BAD:
Would like to be able to do more aerobatic moves.

SUMMARY:
Air Force Delta Storm has some unique aspects for an air combat shooter. It's very well done. The graphics are exceptional. Controls are well thought out and the feel of the aircraft - speed, manuverability, etc.. is awesome. Truly great target detail, mission layout, a unique waypoint system, digital surround sound makes the afterburners, other aircraft, explosions and damage sound so amazing - very realistic, there are missle cams (something left out of many other air combat games), I could go on and on. Another top feature is the selection of aircraft, detail, and weapon availability. It's not difficult to level up and get new planes/weapons. No cheat needed here. You step up gradually and you'll be a pro by the time it becomes hard to get more gear.
