THE GOOD:Graphics, war feel, fighting, tank hunting, squad controls
THE BAD:
Difficulty, weeny bit short, inventory controls
SUMMARY:
This game is quite good, with nice graphics, weapons, and other stuff, but the difficulty ruins it a bit because the enemy soldiers see you from freaking long distances, so removing the classic "element of surprise" But although they can see you from great distances, they still run at you like headless chickens, which turns the game into a "pill box" game, where you sit tight and mow down as many soldiers as possible. Another problem is the length, but is made up for by having tough enemies that keep you stuck in a certain area for ages, significantly LENGTHENING the game. The inventory controls are also irritating, as you can only use one thing at once. For example, if you were in the middle of a firefight, and got hit, and you got your medkit out and healed yourself, you'd then have to cycle back to your gun and continue the fight. Anyway, it doesn't work well, and leads to a lot of pointless deaths for your squad.
But on the other hand, the controls for your squad are relatively easy to master, and it is fun blasting a T-64 with a MAW.
The training is.....weird to begin with because the drill sergeant says to you"Right then soldier, let's see if you know how to move"
In short, this game has good things about it but it's bad points drag it down, which is a pity because the concept was excellent. I would recommend you to rent this game out if you are thinking about getting it.
