THE GOOD:
The storyline
The weaponry(My favorite is the AKM)
The graphics
The disarms

THE BAD:
Not enough detail on Hennessey
Not enough Shadow Adrenaline
Too many Gac Units

SUMMARY:
Summary: One night, K-9 unit Jack Slate, almost a model Grant City cop, gets a "Shots Fired" call on the police dispatch. He is led to a construction site, where he dicovers that his dad, Frank Slate, has been murdered. He radios for help. The first officer to arrive at the scene, Hennessey, orders Slate to go home to get some rest, that they'll handle it. He also told him that the only many that would put a hit out for his dad was Augie Blatz.
Slate was then determined to kill Blatz. Jack is then sent through a strip club, determined to find the man that killed his dad. He is then framed and sent to jail. He was framed for the death of Augie Blatz, although he didn't do it, but those were his intentions.
Seven months he was scheduled to death...

THE GOOD:
The slow motion, the fast paced action.

THE BAD:
You will get angry in this game.

SUMMARY:
Your Jack Slate, a cop whos father was killed while during a investigation. Now hes out to get some answers. What could be better? A rogue cop who is pissed off and has a gun. Nothing.

Dead to Rights is a 3rd person action/shooter where you must fight and shoot your way through to fight answers. Shoot first ask later is your style of communication. This game is not one of those run in a blast everything sort of shooting game. No. The only way to win this game in a keen mind and a fast trigger. What gives Jack Slate the advantage he needs is the slow motion. Personally my favorite, you can slow down and shoot multiple enemies down what will be like 2 seconds if you were to go normal speed.

What I also love about this is the weapons. Pick up a...

THE GOOD:
Gameplay is pretty good.
Graphics were excellent.
Weapons were not bad.
Having an attack dog was pretty good.

THE BAD:
Storyline i pretty overused but that doesnt matter that much.

SUMMARY:
The story is your father was killed and you need to figure out who did it. You are a cop but you get framed and are sent to jail. You have several things you need to do in order to break out including beating up several dozen inmates. The hand to hand combat is pretty good even with the limited moves you have. Using weapons is pretty good and there are several really awesome gun fights. Alot of the missions are really no that hard but then there are some spots where it is extrememly difficult. If you have patience the game is really simple to beat. There are also some places that you have to puzzle type things in order to move on in the game. You have to defuse a bomb which could prove time consuming.

Overall I say the...

THE GOOD:
Cool focus like max payne good weaponery and superable graphics strip club sexy

THE BAD:
very hard bosses to beat lack of ralism in some casses
Hard mini games

SUMMARY:
I like this game a lot but am stuck on a drinking guy
This guy keeps killing me with his fire and i am dyinggggggg !!!!!! This is one of the hottest games I have played this whole year - superb graphics and a soundtrack by NIN make this a great action romp. Some other users have diss'd the game cuz they say it's too short, or it doesn't have enough weapons.... forget what they say, cuz the game is freaking HARD, and the weapons that you have access to require some serious skill to really master, so all in all the game is tuff to beat, and not at all suitable for pansies. Two thumbs way up!

THE GOOD:
Guns, Bullets, More Guns!
Shadow!
Human Sheilds!

THE BAD:
You can get shot more times than superman could?

SUMMARY:
DTR is a game with many twists and turns in its plot, much like Max Payne. It is like ok lets go kill this guy, crap he didn't do it lets go kill this guy, too bad he didn't do it lets kill this guy! There are many weapons to chose from in the game like your fists, shot guns, machine guns, hand guns, a dog! The game is very hard and has a great replay value. It has great puzzle type mini games that require loads of thinking and reflexes. Bullet time is awesome in just about any game, but it really fits in this one. The most valid problem with the game is that you can take so many shots and hardly be hurt. For people like me though if your tired of taking hits go grab a human sheild which adds a very movie type feel to the game. Again much like Max Payne it plays more like a movie than a game.
RENT B4 U BUY

THE GOOD:
- The human shield is very cool especially when you let the guy go and then shoot him in the head
- Tossing and shooting explosive canisters is very cool
- Controlling Jack's dog is a cool option
- Picking locks

THE BAD:
- The graphics could be much better

SUMMARY:
Very good and entertaining game. A must rent or if you can find a cheap even preowned copy it is a good buy.

THE GOOD:
The cutscenes, slow-motion action.

THE BAD:
All those friggin annoying, cheap, no good bosses.

SUMMARY:
This game has a good story, some good graphics, but overall i was too concentrated on getting frustrated at all the harder people...that stupid pinnacle, Hennesy in the end, and all the times they just piled on a bunch of guys to fight. It wasn't the fact that they were hard as much as they were just cheap and frustrating. My fist still hurts from punching everything out of anger...oh my god, i almost forgot that extremely annoying helicopter action were you had to shoot down everybody...that really got me. But hey, now that its all over I guess it wasn't too bad, good graphics and some cool action gameplay, although I must say, it could have been a lot better (was the game a rushed process?).

THE GOOD:
graphics, gameplay, weapons, enemies, strip clubs and you even get to run around as a dog

THE BAD:
it is easy to die and the enemies take alot of hits

SUMMARY:
This game is awesome. It has sweet graphics and some awesome weapons. THe enemies are kind of cool even though they take alot of hits and they look the same. It is fun to do hand to hand combat and even shoot them The strip club is sweet too. It is also cool to be a dog. You need to get this because it will be worth your money.

This would be the game. Dead To Rights has everything a typical Hollywood action movie should have, but yet, it's a game! You get to dictate movement, progression, and gunplay while trying to solve two mysteries and participating in vital mini-games. Some will make the obvious comparisons to Max Payne, but Namco has done a fine job of making Dead To Rights stand on it's own.

One Good Cop; One Very Bad Situation

And so says the tagline on the back of the game. You play Jack Slate, just a regular cop on the K-9 unit on his regular beat in regular Grant City. Then, he gets a normal call to investigate a gunfight at a local construction yard. When he gets there, he finds something that begins the downward spiral into corruption, betrayal and crime. Someone has executed his father.

I can't really say to much more about the plot because there are some plot twists throughout the game that are quite...
