THE GOOD:
-Very good graphics
-The soundtrack is interesting
-You end up looking really cool
-Choice between good/evil paths
-Choice DURING game whether you want to be a wizard, archer, warrior, or combination of them
-Very open ended
-Surreal AI responses according to alignment
-Interesting storyline
-Ability to own houses and rent them out
-Ability to live in houses with a wife or husband
-Normality in towns makes you feel like you're a powerful warrior, not just some normal looking guy that kicks ass
-Ability to kick chickens
-Gameplay is fun, fast-paced, and favors all play styles from melee to ranged physical combat to magic to rogue etc.
-Lots of secrets and features to keep you busy when you're bored of the main quest
-Ability to keep playing after you beat the game
-Interesting quests to keep you going
-User-friendly gameplay; easy to control

THE BAD:
-Graphics sometimes are unreal during cut scenes
-Gameplay can sometimes be boring to the impatient because of repetition
-Extremely short main quest

SUMMARY:
Fable is a very good game for the fantasy action RPG genre. Although there's only about 7-10 hours of gameplay into the main quests, there are some fun side quests and lots of things to keep you busy during the game and after you beat it, such as marrying as much as you want, owning houses, earning money, uncovering all the secrets, and more. The difficulty in the game isn't extremely easy but it isn't extremely hard.

One of the coolest things in the game that's noticed on a subconscious level is that being in towns really makes you feel like you are a Hero, in the game's terms. Everyone around you either runs away from you screaming if you've chosen to be evil or comes up to you clapping and cheering if you've chosen to be a good-doer. Unlike other games, it gives you a sense of superiority, but you can also be a normal person, owning homes and hanging out in the tavern having a good drink, which is a cool twist.

Overall the game is very impressive. All the choices made, from hairstyle to tattoo style to whether you're a villain or a hero, make this game very in depth. However, it keeps it on a subtle level so you don't feel overwhelmed with choices and can just enjoy it.

I give this game a 4.9 because it's perfect, just I would've loved to been able to play it longer. The main quest ended way too soon. I did play it again after beating it, twice, choosing different things. The replay is very fun and sometimes doesn't seem like you're doing something you've already done. This game does live up to its purpose.

Definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys any type of RPG from fantasy to sci-fi. Those who like action and/or adventure will probably fall in love with it equally.

THE GOOD:
Fable has a very captivating plot line and gives a player the ability to follow that line whenever they see fit to. Being able to complete side quests that help you build stats and acquire improved abilities as well as being able to customize you player. Make him a powerful wizard or a brutish force to be reckoned with, its up to you.
With the different combinations of hair styles/tatoos to go along with armor/weapons/magic, this game gives you multiple possibilities to customize a character.

*Sweet weapons/armor
*Captive story line
*Option of leading a good or evil life
*Interaction with other characters
*Ability to own houses & stores
*Smooth graphics

THE BAD:
Even though the story line is captivating, it is short. Once you feel like you're finally getting somewhere with the main story, it ends just as quickly as it began. This in combination with the lack of weapons and armor that was "supposed" to be in the game before the release is a bit of a let down. But the lack of a couple weapons and a long story line shouldn't stop anyone from playing.

SUMMARY:
Fable is by far one of the best games I've ever played. The free open range to move allows you to go where ever you want at whatever time you want to, there is no direct line of action that you have to take. The graphics are excellent as is the game play (once you get used to it). To me, the best thing about this game is its original purpose. How do you want to live your life? For good, or for evil? Whichever way is chosen affects the next outcome in the game and how you are perceived by other characters in the game.

Yes the creators of Fable had to take some stuff out of the game to get it ready for its release, but that doesn't mean this is a mediocre game. The story line may be short, but it also allows you to continue on your journey after the main story line is done. You can own different towns, trade goods between merchants for profit, snag a wife or two and track down extras hidden throughout the game.

Anyone who enjoys any type of RPG game, fantasy like or not, should own a copy of Fable and should be able to enjoy it time and time again. Play it over and over and change your own path.

THE GOOD:
Weapons.
A sim sort of thing.

THE BAD:
Too short.
Unoriginal Storyline.
Can't walk anywhere but where you have to go.
Overated.
Enemies are too easy.
Graphics aren't to good.

SUMMARY:
Difficulty: Very Easy.

Fable is a highly detailed simulation/RPG in which you start as a character in their teens. The choices you make effect not only the character but the world they live in. As your character ages, their appearence, reputation, and personality become a reflection of their past experiences.

Length: Okay, no offence, but this game is wayyyyy too short. The game's length should be much longer, replay value is not too good because after you finish the game it just loses it's already bad value. There couldv'e been sidequests. I like sidequests because they make games longer. This game has barely any sidequests, thus, making the game much too short. I hate short games because, let's face it, it wastes time and just doesn't satisfy the world. Unless you're into short games, don't get this.

Gameplay: Okay, this is a sim game. You grow from your teen years to adulthood. You have to kill these demon things to save the world. It's real time, which is pretty damn good because it makes the fighting more real. But let's get real - the enemies are too easy, and there's no blood. It's okay because it's an M rated game and it's also a sim sort of game (blood and sims, WTF?). You also watch your muscles bulge, personalities change, ect, ect. I find it boring though because let's just say I'm too impatient. If you don't have patience, then don't buy this.

Oh, if you wanted online, then you're out of luck. It's not in this game.

Originality: My God, this game is not 100% original. It's a copy of another storyline of a game I don't know but I seriously think there should be more original ideas because stealing ideas from other games is pretty much against the law - unless you use already thought of ideas for a different game, which is pointless because, like, c'mon. That's just plain idiotic, unoriginal and uncool.

Dialogue: Ermm, yeah, nice dialogue, but there's barely any swearing - and their mouths don't even move! And, seriously, I find saying the same thing over and over again quite annoying as you get it stuck in your head and then you say it out loud and people think you're weird.

Graphics: It's a fair bit real and I like that because that's what Microsoft do best and it just makes a game look good but there are weird things with the graphics too. Mouths don't move to words and their hands and toes go through the walls! I find that weird because it looks weird and just doesn't feel right. It's also pretty stupid as well. I mean, we're past that. That sort of stuff is expected for like a game on the 64 made in like 1999.

Overall, don't make the same mistake I made and bought it. Instead, give it a rent and if you like it, buy it. If you don't, don't.

Score: 2.6/5.0.

THE GOOD:
Great Graphics!
Make Choices of your Own to be good, evil,or neutral.
Realistic: Age,Marry,Buy a house,Etc
Good Side Quests
Challenging(Those who like playing hard challenging games)
Can Continue playing after you beat it.

THE BAD:
Very Short!
Gets boring for a while during the game, and after you beat it.
Small Amount of Weapons
Challenging (Those who hate really hard games)
Boring,not exciting storyline.

SUMMARY:
It's about a regular boy, (You name him) and he's living peacefully in his town when suddenly, it got invaded by bandits. The bandits killed all the villagers, including his parents. The bandits also kidnapped his sister. He is the only one who survived, but then he met a strange but powerful man who took him in to the guild. He trained there for years until he grew old enough to explore the world. You can now explore different kinds of lands and go on different side quests. Some quests can raise your good, or bad level depending on the quests. You choose your destiny.

The game is okay to play if you love challenging games and don't mind that it's short. It's very realistic, meaning you can marry,Age,buy a house, fish, and Etc. But, the disapointing thing is you can't have kids. I dislike the game because it's a waste of money when it's so short. It also has a really boring storyline that wasn't exciting,or has a creative, suspensful twist. This sort of storyline is used in thousand of RPGs. It's too common. It lags too much and takes too much to load. It is best to rent it first before you play it. This is the sort of game where you should just rent it to kill time,or borrow it.
I give it a 3.0

Xbox  Great Game 4.3

THE GOOD:
.Great Graphics
.Customization
.Fishing
.Aging
.Marriage
.Upgrades
.Side quests
.Pick to be good or evil
.Buy a house
.Every thing is spoken

THE BAD:
These don't make the game any less fun there just little things that you notice:

.Repetitive occasionly
.Mouths don't look realistic when talking
.Same old glitch- arms going into walls
.Un-origonal storyline
.Most of the voices sound the same and they say the same things over and over
.Poeple laugh at you for no reason =(

SUMMARY:
This game is very good. When I first started off I didn't like the graphics but they grew onto me and now I love them. There are lot's of little things that make this game even more amazing such as Fishing, Buying a house making your character look nicer ect. There are trophies to be one and your reputation to be built. You can do lot's of different things such as be nice to the people, tease them, take there things, give them things and it keeps going on.

There is also voices for everything so you don't have to read what comes up =D

The bad news =(
This game can get repetitive but you can do different things each day so that isn't TO bad. Some things lack animation such as movement and it may occasionally skip a few frames. You've heard the same old "Revenge" story line over and over but it's the same in this game. Also, gossip spreads and you can become the laughing stock OR a tiger ^^ (Roar)

I would recomend this game for an adventure game fan so I would give it a 4.3.

THE GOOD:
About everything in the game. graphics, abilities to choose from, etc.Did I mention that the powers are awsome.

THE BAD:
What I didn't like was the lack of gameplay because I finshed within a day and the lack of powerful weapons. the only way to get the best sword in the game is if you are evil;there are only about 13 good weapons in the game for 2 types of weapons you can weild thats not a lot.(swords and bows)

SUMMARY:
The game was good but like I said before lack of good weapons really put this game down for me. here are reasons to buy it
looking for a game that has more magic and less swords, looking for a cheap gift, or looking for a cheap game just to pass some time. So if you like sword fighting this isn't the game for you.I give it 3 swords out of 5.

THE GOOD:
This game offers some of the best level design seen, plus the just plain fun level is awesome. This game also had some of the highest replay value I've ever seen.

THE BAD:
The worst thing bout this game is the fact that so much promised out of it was cut out turning it into a very short game

SUMMARY:
Through your short childhood, to your teens, to the bulky hero u become this game offers greatness. I found myself memorizing over how little differences could make my guys look different. Not only that but the NPC's notice too. Good gamers walk the line to victory with people cheering them all the way. Bad players get nasty comments, booed and push into the shadows or to unleash their anger on the ones who dare comment about them and send all others into the shadow you hid in. Never have i found myself so emotionaly attached to my character.

THE GOOD:
Amazing story line. There are so many things to do and even double ways to do them. You can literally get lost in the amount of things that you can do. Absolutely amazing.

THE BAD:
So many things to do, means alot of lagging. There are some parts where you have to wait about 2 minutes for the game to load, and that seems like forever.

SUMMARY:
So many things to do. Its amazing how many things you can do. There are so many ways that you can live your life through. You can travel to the good side, and dedicate your life to helping others. You can cross the line and become evil, using your time to torment others. Or you can walk the line, be neutral and do everything. Its all up to you. Another great thing, you can marry whoever you want, be gay or straight, its all up to you. The biggest false claim of the game, is getting the final sword. Its not what its perked up to be, just put everything in your strength up and you can get it.

THE GOOD:
-life like characters
-neat enemies
-neat weapons

THE BAD:
-a little too short
-the fact you can't explore the guild at the end anymore

SUMMARY:
the fable game was a good game. it let you progress from child to adult, in a short amount of time. it has lots of parts that simulate real life, like when you smack someone with a big sword, they actually die, instead of living and fighting back. this is also dependant upon the toughness of the person being assaulted, since villagers aren't trained for fighting, they take more damage, than say, a guard or bandit. the spells are neat, and the chioce of good or evil is priceless. the people's reactions to you are neat. they cower when you are evil, and praise you when you are good. you can upgrade weapons, augument them, and even change your appearance with hair cuts, beards, and tattoos. hell, you can even get married and have sex. keep in mind, your sexuality does change(if you are single, you are unknown, hetero if you marry a woman, homo if you marry a guy and bi if you marry equal numbers of both genders) one funny thing is, when your wife follows you, you can see her get jelous and start bad mouthing other ladies who hit on you. my favorite part of the game is the drinking, getting wasted and throwing up. try this game.
