SUMMARY: Having played the first two Fallout games and their cousin Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, I have to say that the only thing keeping this from being a total 5 is the Style of Play. I like being close up and having the detail that goes with it. The problem is that you cannot travel the Wastes and have random encounters. The fix would have been as simple as using some of the Xbox's Hard Drive...mind you that the PS2 that I own wouldn't be able to handle it for a while--until Sony gets of their @ss and puts it out in my location--but this would have solved the problem. This is a great series of games...even if Fallout Tactics is a cousin and Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel is, technically a distant 2nd cousin. Otherwise I truly enjoy the way that the game was formatted for console use--I do understand that it would be difficult to use the old game engine on any console. The style they chose is really the only way to go. Hopefully a Fallout 3 will be made and will help me and all the other Wasteland Addicts get a Jet fix!
