THE GOOD:
-GTA is known for its freedom in gameplay
-Graphics actually pretty good

THE BAD:
-Gets old pretty soon, too expensive, even for double pack

SUMMARY:
GTA is either a "love" or "hate" game, and I'm one of the lovers. Its very violent and bloody, and not suitable for kids. But, since I like that sort of thing, its fun. GTA3 is OK, with the gang missions and present day cars, but Liberty City can get really old, so Vice City is better. In VC, the soundtrack is amazing, the missions are harder, and the vehicles are definitely sexier. Not to mention there are more side missions, and the entire story is funnier. THe only thing to watch out for are the glitches. There are some that even impede the main quest, but they only happen sometimes. Overall, this game rocks hard balls.

THE GOOD:
This game would have alllll of your needs if you are someone who likes BIG action. This will defenetly make it to your top game you have ever had!

THE BAD:
If you are not a big fan of action and mild blood, and guns, and just going wherever you want in the city while jacking cars and all, then this is not very suitable for you...If your parents aren't very happy with you getting 'M' games, then this isn't that well either.

SUMMARY:
This game is SUPER JAMMED PACKED with fun around every corner. You can go by foot, air, water, or jack a car or a motorbike. This game is M for suggestsive content, language, blood, violence, and to tell you that crime pays...not really, that's just to make it fun & funny because you just know it's a game. You got the double pack, so you might decide between two of the games to be your favorite. Well, Grand Theift Auto III's city is the industrial, Liberty City based on a city in Oregon...I think Portland....

THE GOOD:
- Faster load times - Exactly the same as ps2 version

THE BAD:
- Controls suck - Audio wonky - I've already played the ps2 version like dozen times..it lacks the initial bite gta offered

SUMMARY:
A friend of mine got the xbox version and he asked me to check it out. Gameplay: The reason why i love GTA games is that most of the gameplay is OPEN ENDED. From choosing to when to do missions for bosses, being a psycho and most of all theres so many ways to approach and pass tasks given to you.You almost can do anything you want in the game. True Crimes is touted as open ended..well in my opinion it isn't. When you fight Lola in one of its missions..your stuck in an area where you virtually can't do anything else but fight her..thats not open ended. In GTA you are not constrained. Take for example a mission called "Four Iron". Your boss avery carrington tells you beat up some guy with golf clubs. But the good thing you don't have...

THE GOOD:
The verious abilities, the radio stations in cars, the car selection, weapon selections, and the scape of the setting, custom soundtrack, excellent graphics

THE BAD:
glitchy

SUMMARY:
The two games tha made Grand Theft Auto my most favorite video game series of all. It now comes together in one package. This is the first series to actually give me freedom. Freedom to roam wherever and if I wanted to do a mission I do it via rendezvous, not warp to it like other games. You can also use many guns and do lots of different stuff unstead of just walk around, drive around and just shoot people like normal. The control in this game is excellent. It is absolute perfection. Everything from the aiming is easy to control. The graphics on the XBOX version makes even better. The rims and the shininess make for more detailed setting. One of the advantages of the XBOX version. The sound is excellent especially the soundtracks. You gotta...

Let me start off saying that there is a great value in this game. For only $50 you get GTAIII and Vice City. And the graphics are sooo much better and glitches have been removed.

This is a great game in the sense that it lets you do anything you want - illegal or not - on 3 different islands. These illegal things to not come without a penalty, of course, so the cops (or depending on what you did), FBI, SWAT, National Gaurd, and Army will take your sad ass down unless you have the means to defend yourself. Many weapons ranging from snipers to rockets are in this game to dispose of your targets or random pedestrians. You'll recieve missions from certain shady characters who need their SPANK (some sort of illegal drug) protected or a rival eliminated. Do whatever it takes and recieve your pay....

If you have it for the PS2 you won't miss out if you don't get this game. Really the only thing that is better if the graphics and the glitches are gone. The storyline is not...

THE GOOD:
Well... let's see... what's good?
Well... Everything is good!
Graphics... very awesome... they are the computer version... not the PS2 version...
Sound... just as cool as the PS2, but now with custom sound tracks
Control... ehhh... fast cars are hard to handle... but that's the way they are suppose to be.
Role-play value... as high as a kite!

THE BAD:
Naw... just some space filler here...

SUMMARY:
This game is awesome... it has all of the old games' stuff... like messN around with people for no reason... and shooting the hell out of them just because they didn't stop or bow to you for being the coolest bad@ss around... but other than that... the game really rocks... the story is basically the same to me... well they basically just transfered it to X-box version and added the ability to put custom sound tracks to yo game... so you can listen to Slipknot with riding in a fast car... or fiffty-cent if that's yo...

THE GOOD:
+ Open-ended Gameplay
+ Hidden Packages
+ Rampages
+ Vehicles
+ Mini-Games
+ Hidden Missions
+ Main Missions
+ Story
+ Voice Acting
+ Sound
+ Graphics
+ Control
+ Mature Themes
+ Custom Soundtracks
+ Comes with two games!

THE BAD:
- Hmm... ah ... hmm...

SUMMARY:
Well, I have to admit that when GTA3 and GTA:VC came out for PS2, I wasn't really impressed. I was actually bored with the games and I thought they were the most overrated pieces of s**t to ever grace gaming. I basically thought that it was only successful because of all the mature themes like killing and prostitution, combined with (what I thought at the time) shallow open-ended gameplay. Boy was I wrong.

Now that I've really sat down and given these games a chance, I have to say that they f**king rock! The gameplay in both GTA3 and Vice City offers you tons of unique missions that are all a...

THE GOOD:
The graphics on GTA III do not look like someone drew them with an etch-a-sketch. You can see real detail in the hood of the car, you can see hands clearly, it OWNS. VC looks very similary just a little better

THE BAD:
I am not a big fan of the control layout on either option, I really wish the more games would include button mapping much like you can on PC games but hey we gamers cant always get what we want

SUMMARY:
I was very suprised about how much these games passed their PS2 cousins. The graphics blow the PS2 outta the water but the Dolby Digtal and DTS on the games make it that much sweeter. It's so funny to hear what some of the peds say as they are walking and to be able to hear the power of you car, plane, truck, ect. I would say if this was the only reason you had a PS2 then get rid of it, run out buy a crack box and play one of the greatest video games every made!

THE GOOD:
its so beautiful! they're both completely new games all over again. its like - cant wait to get to the next mission to see what goodies they added. or cant wait to get to the next island to see what a vehicle looks like with the new graphics. plus the load times went from mins to seconds!

THE BAD:
still alil buggy...but i havent found the blue hell yet lol. and vice had the least improvment the cars are ALL better...but the main bosses look the same (unlike gta3)

SUMMARY:
i like gta3 the most out of the 2. it had the most work done on it for the xbox. cans and bottles are on the ground around ally ways...half-broken boxes etc. REAL reflections on the cars (you drive by a tree - you'll see a tree on the car). and when you pop the hood ...theres an actual engine! not just a...
