SUMMARY: Well there is no doubt that Halo is the best game on the Xbox system. At first when playing this, I found that the controlls where a little complex, but very easy to get used to. The wepons choice is very nice verity, of the enemys wepons, that often use batteries, and human wepons like machin guns ect. This game is nicely put togeather, and I have only found a few bugs here and there, but tis game still gets my stamp of aprovle. The games graphix are awing, the game play magnifisent, and have perfect replay value. And like my title said this game alone is worth getting an xbox.

SUMMARY: Well what is there to say about Halo that hasn't already been said? It is one of the best FPS games ever made and I don't think anyone can doubt that this is the game that the Xbox owes its existence to. Halo saved the Xbox and without this game the Xbox would probably have been a major disaster. I'm not sure I can say anything that countless other people haven't already said, but I'll do it anyway.
You play as Master Chief and basically you have to kick some alien ass to save humanity. You're basically a one-man army for the most part although you do have minimal help from allied marines. You are one of an elite group of soldiers, but the only one to survive. Your armour has to be worn out completely before you take damage and your shield will regenerate. THE GOOD: Outstanding graphics and above average AI. Great co-operative multiplayer as well. Weapon coshing is great.
THE BAD: Despite a load of options, the single player and multi player modes quickly get repetative. The vehicles seem to be controlled more by the camera than by you. Also I don't think much of the 'realism' of only being able to carry two guns.
SUMMARY: Well, this was hailed as pretty much the best launch game ever, so I decided to check it out and see what all the fuss was about.

THE GOOD: Playing a big green war machine tingles your trigger finger. Great guns. AI is positivley accurate. Vehicles are on hand and easy to control. Great landscapes and different map varieties on SP & MP. Lengthy levels. A decent Sci-Fi StoryLine that I actually managed to understand. Multiplayer is essential if you have friends...*cough*. (And I mean cough.)
THE BAD: Lengthy levels, but not many of them. The shooting did get a little repetitive for me unless you switch guns now and again, like I did.
SUMMARY: Just a few things ruined Halo for me, but I still adore it in a basic semi-commercial advertsing way, (if you get me) and should delight anyone who has little money these days and enjoys a slightly half-dense and wayward Alien-Romp Fest.

SUMMARY: This is like one greatest games in xbox! It has great graphics and superb weapons! The game is so hard You'd think you'd need 4 more players to play it...The alien are so cool especially the yellow green blade guy! The two player is so cool! It even has the game Oddball and King of the hill and you can create other levels in which you can only choose shotguns or rocket launcher as your weapons and it has those cool teleport thing!!

SUMMARY: this game kicks ass! its graphics rule, its the best first person shooter game ive ever played and its got a co-op mode!!!its level setups are matched by no other. halo is the hole reason i bought an Xbox. ive beaten the game 35 times and it never gets old. the leves are diverse and well thought out and verses mode is something to marvel at. It is realistic by only letting you use 2 guns(even thought i would like 3)and only 8 grenades. the game never has a dull moment and the music is perfectly matched with ever scene .i give this game a 5 out of five. if youve never tried it then your missing out on something amazing!lets all give it up for the best game ever.

IMO: the best game ever. For now. The main reason I bought an XBox was for the 'PC-type/quality' games, and Halo is the perfect example of the closing gap between PC and console games. The graphics are without peer for other games of its type.
The XBox controller (particularly the smaller one) is perfectly suited to the game. Controlling the Master Chief is easy, intuitive and fun.
Some people would say that being able to carry only two gun at any time (in addition to both types of grenade) is restrictive. I'd say that that is an excellent thing. It forces you think. To use tactics. The AI of both the enemy and your marine allies is fantastic.

By now everyone should know what Halo is. Even though it was a launch title to the XBOX, it is still probably the best title for it. Many proclaim Halo to be one of the best games ever, if not the best game ever. Unfortunately, it is not. While a great game, it is somewhat overrated.
Developed by Bungie, the makers of Oni, Halo is a first person shooter on a global scale. Instead of your usual crawling through caves, taking out guards here and there, etc., you literally watch wars between different alien races occur. This is a strong point of the game, but unfortunately we were deprived of actually being in those wars.

THE BAD: Might not quite live up to some people's expectations.
SUMMARY: Gameplay: Halo is certainly the best Xbox game I have played. The storyline is believable, the battles with Covenant goons are brilliant, plus the array of weapons and vehicles totally rock, especially the Banshee and Scorpion Tank!. The AI of the enemies is almost exceptional as well. The AI of the Marines who aid you in battle can sometimes be a problem, though, especially when they get in your way (or vice-versa) when you are trying to land a headshot on an angry elite. Loading times are very good. Also, the multiplayer possibilities are endless. Halo is also internet compatible with things like Gamespy, although you will need broadband for this.
