THE GOOD:
Graphics!!! Free roaming movement!! Blocking that works!!

THE BAD:
Arenas could have been more origional. A better manual on moves...

SUMMARY:
Got the game and beat the Story mode in about 11 minutes on normal. But it was fun and I kept feeling like "this must be the final boss because it's really tougher now". (still a lot more difficulties to try yet) Story??? None really... but who cares it is the fighting that is the best part. At first you think that it doesn't seem to have many fighting options but then you realize that everything affects what your move is. The distance from the enemy. Running or standing. Using the "L", or "R" buttons or not. Using the direction pad or the analog. It all has some kind of affect in the game.
When you hit someone it really feels like you are doing something. It feels like you are in a 3D game instead of a 2D game with 3D graphics (Tekken anyone??). Movements are fluid instead of stiff like MK. Some people won't give it a chance... but if you do then you might find it to be one of the more entertaining fighters that you have played in awhile. Enjoy...

THE GOOD:
Impressive visuals.

THE BAD:
Totally generic gameplay.

SUMMARY:
I'm reading the manual for Chojin, and i discovered I could've read the diray of a ditzy 10 year old girl, and walked away, just as ready to fight. Instead of pertinet information on fighters and modes, it's filled with woefully generic story text, and weird, unfunny comments like, "Cute Haircut!", and "Delightfully Viscious!" scrawled in the margins. Bizarre.

Unfortunatly this flagrant disregard for quality extends to the severly lame-ass game itself. Chojin is like one of those games you get in a 10-in-1 pack when you buy a new computer.

It obviously borrows character and gameplay ideass directly from high quality games such as Tekken's silly characters, and DOA3 costumes and moves, but this game is just a shocase of what your hardware can do. Hell yes, the game looks incredible - you can tell it started as a jaw-dropping tech demo for the Xbox. But it's such a flop in all other regards:dorky characters with mundane attacks won't impress anyone; fighting styles are truly unique in name only; and a few paltry, half hearted extras kill of any existing replay value.

Chojin gets a few points here and there for looking nice, and the spiffy idea of capture the crown mini game, though flawed. But when it comes to my fighting game roaster, I'd rather play Vf4 or DOA3 instead.
