THE GOOD:- Simple gameplay
- Anyone can play including Mom and Dad
- Co-Op is the most fun to be had
- Covers episodes I, II and III
THE BAD:
- A few minor glitches
- Gameplay may not hold enough depth for some people
- If you hate Lego and/or Star Wars don't get this game
SUMMARY:
My first reveiw, here we go;
Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, is a fun and addictive game that puts you in the shoes of 1 of 30+ people in the Star Wars universe. That said the game is easy to pick up and understand but hard to master (by master I mean getting 100%), the invincibility cheat is 1,000,000 lego studs (the curency in the game.)
You start the game in Dexter's Diner, and from there you can buy cheats or "extras" as they are called in this game, or jump straight into the action by going into the door with an "I" over it (the I being the Star Wars Episode 1 door) and walk into the first door inside this room, again with an "I". This is the first scene in Ep. 1
"Negotiations." After you beat this you can skip ahead to Ep. II, III or finish Ep.1
The games graphics are good, not the best you can find on the X-box, but thats okay because you don't want super realistic graphics for this game, its ment to be simple.
At the end of the day you can beat LSW: TVG in 2 sittings, but if you rush to beat the game you miss out on a big chunk of the game, unlocking characters for beating levels and buying them from Dexter. The simple gameplay will leave you wanting more and so you'll come back to play it again.
Score: 4.7
When you beat the game: Put it on your shelf to play with your friends or to play it later, the Co-Op is really fun.
