THE GOOD:
Some fun gameplay elements.

THE BAD:
Poor graphics. Serious control flaws. Redundant "been there, done that" gameplay style.

SUMMARY:
Another attempt to capitalize on the recent popularity of video games based on popular movie/comic book franchises, this game attempts to put the popular Predator character into a game of it's own. The plotline shows potential-run all over the big city, tear people's limbs and heads off to accomplish various challenges, and so on, but ultimately its many flaws reduce it to not much more than guilty pleasure, and bad at that.
The graphics look like they are more rush job than anything else. The character models are not that bad, but the various environments show lots of rough edges and aren't very smooth, looking almost more 32-bit than next-gen. The cutscenes you'll see are nice-looking though. Sounds are pretty good, but some of the voice acting borders on just insanely silly...zoom in on some...

SUMMARY:
There have been a few Alien Vs. Predator games, most of them not very good. Predator: Concrete Jungle, however, delivers. The entire game is told in retrospect of a mysterious woman, who you eventually meet near the end of the game. The game starts you off at the end of your 1930 escapade as a young Predator after the proverbial shit hit the fan. The first level has you running and jumping through a war between the Irish gangsters and the Police. Needless to say, you don't make it to your ship. After demolishing the city known as New Way City with the nuclear device on your ship, and surviving, the rest of your clan comes to collect you and sentence you to a 100-year term on a planet infested with creatures looking suspiciously like the creatures from Pitch Black. After the 100 years is up, your clan returns to have your right your wrongs. In your haste, you left your mask and several weapons in the city...

THE GOOD:
Great graphics ,weapons and sound effects exactly like those from the movies, all the predator moves, weapons and features in a tight package! Challenging gameplay and an interesting history.

THE BAD:
Counterintuitive controls, terrible (but fixable read below) camera, lots of trial and error gameplay, no quick saves or checkpoints make for some really frustating levels (until you figure out what you are supposed to do). Extremely violent for some tastes.

SUMMARY:
Dont go for the pro reviews, "Predator: concrete" jungle is a game that any predator/sci-fi/horror fan will love (suffice to say I've put down, games such as unreal championship, doom 3 and even Splinter Cell in order to play it a bit more.)

However is not an easy relationship, the learning curve is extremely steep , just to give you an idea it takes between 1-2 hours just to finish the training course and even then you will probably want to take it again,...
