THE GOOD:
Xbox Live-enabled mayhem

THE BAD:
Surprise! Another ambush!

SUMMARY:
Europe, 1943. The Nazis' research on the occult yields an unstoppable army of zombies, gun-toting robo-hounds, and lightning-handed priests wearing stylish velvet clothes. But undead soldiers can't mend the chink in the Nazis' Aryan armor--ein Amerikaner with a surfeit of moxie can bring down the whole shebang. Like Wolfenstein 3D (PC), its old school namesake, Tides challenges players with enemies' toughness and sheer numbers rather than clever artificial intelligence. Be prepared for lots of trial and error.
The story is compelling, but it's not actually intergrated into gameplay. You need to read your journal to figure out where you are, what you're doing, and why you're throwing so many damn switches. Still, aside from some frustarating moments, the single-player campaign is well-paced and entertaining.
But Tides is even better with a partner....

THE GOOD:
Concept - it works!
AI
This is a BIG game

THE BAD:
The ending - where is the challenge?

SUMMARY:
When I first purchased Return to Castle Wolfenstein, I was slightly alarmed by the apparently bizarre mixture of the 3rd Reich and zombies (it still sounds odd). However, the cut scenes and storeyline manage to blend the two seemlessly together into what is a thouroughly enjoyable jaunt around this fantasy world. The gameplay is good, with pretty sharp AI and the difficulty, especially on higher levels, provides a genuine challenge. The AI impressed me from the start to finish, and although not quite Halo, the incesent will of your digitsed oposition to bring about your demise keeps you coming back for more and more. Another feature of note is the vast array of weaponry available, from machine guns to flamethrowers to mini guns and whatever else you can think of. At certain stages you find yourself darting from wall to wall in a...

Do you like killing annoying people that you dont know? If yes is your answer then this is the game for you. Its xbox live feature allows you to play with people from around the world. The good thing about this is, if you find someone annoying, take out your panzer and blow them outta the game . The single player game has awesome gameplay and brilliant visuals. It also has a co-op mode that allows you to play through the whole game with a mate. There is a wide arsenal of weapons, from lugers to bazookers. There are enemies that will scare the sh*t out of you and the huge bosses will have you on the run! This game has one of the best multiplayer and singleplayer modes out there! Get it... NOW!

::WARNING::
RtCW: Tides of War requires that you wear a nappy at all times of play to avoid stains and embarassment.

This is a great game. Now you may think, "What's so special about it?" Well, there are a whole cartload of things. For one, it's fun. But it's not the campaign that makes it fun. Single-player is relatively boring. Now Co-Op makes it a good deal more fun. There are plenty of Nazis to kill, zombies and mutants by the truckload. The cutscenes add a good deal to the gameplay, and you'll be clueless if you don't watch them. Now, the story isn't critical to know, but it's pretty good. There are a handful of authentic Nazi weapons alons, and everybody knows, the more weapons, the better. I'm less than halfway through the campaign right now, but I'm sure it won't get much better.
But the creme of this crop is the Xbox LIVE. Oh, god. I cann't tell you how fun that multiplayer is. For one, it gives you the choice of a medic, sniper, or regualr troop. That plays straight Nazi on Ally action. No zombies or fat Nazi women. It's similar to Battlefield 1942. It is faster on Xbox LIVE, and...

General/Summary: Thank goodness for sites like this, where folks can post their honest opinions about games and not be fooled by magazines and people who have a conflict of interest when telling the truth about games, who don't want to piss off their advertisers.....leaving the consumer to get pumped of their cash.
How many times have I read that a game was great, only to find it sucked after buying it.
This is not the case with Castle Wolfenstein.
The game rocks! The A.I. is the best I've seen. Yes better than Halo. It's one thing to have a bunch of aliens running around shooting ray guns and throwing grenades at you, but to have enemy soldiers spar with you in combat using corners and doorways for cover is another. Wolfenstein is A.I that thinks!
This is not Halo. It isn't supposed to be. What it is, is game that after all is said and done is as good a game as Halo. Lest I say even better.

THE GOOD:
Awesome gameplay, decent graphics, awesome online mode(best xbox live game yet), long and challenging story missions, lots of modes to choose from...

THE BAD:
Sometimes lots of lag on online modes...

SUMMARY:
Overall this has to be the best Xbox Live game yet. Its lots of fun and there are several levels to choose from in terms of Xbox Live. You take a side, either Axis or Allied and you play against the clock in several different types of online modes, Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Destruction and a few others to choose from.

The only downside of the online play is that there is occasional lag and when there is lag, its the worst I've ever seen on an online game. It gets bad but its still worth the buy to get the occasional lag.

The storyline missions are good and challenging. I still haven't completed them and I've been playing since it came out a month ago. The missions take up to an hour each and are...

THE GOOD:
improved port of an excellent PC game. Co-op in campaign, extra levels, great graphics/lighting (improved over the original), online gameplay is the best x-box live has to offer....and thats no small feat.

THE BAD:
cant save co-op games. online matches can get laggy but its not as bad as some other titles

SUMMARY:
The main campaign is fabulous....extra levels from the original with sharper grahics and lighting. With the inclusion of co-op gameplay, it makes for some nice tactical action. This is easily the best FPS on x-box after Halo. With X-box live, the game is top notch boasting the most customizable features of any x-boa live title ive seen (you can even change your name/ tag temporarily). Online, I love the way the game truely was designed to make your team work as a unit rather then the "everyone out for themselves" style of play in other online titles. Easily the best online experience ive "ever" had.
