THE GOOD:-your sim can visit different locations instead of being stuck inside the house the whole time
-more detail and choices when it comes to creating sims
-quite challenging; keeps you busy and interested
-great rides!
THE BAD:
I guess I'll be nit picky here.
-getting stuck
-does it seem that all the sims in your house need to use the same appliance at the same time?
-roundabout ways to get to things
SUMMARY:
The Sims Bustin Out is an awesome game. First off, you can travel around and go to diffeent scenes rather than staying stuck inside the house all the time. You meet more new and interesting people this way, from clubbers to artists to deadbeats.
When you first begin to create your own personalized sim, you'll notice there are tons and tons of choices for clothing, hair, even detailed facial features, such as your nose and chin shape, the size of your eyes and mouth as well.
As with the first sims, it is super challenging, especially if you plan on beating it without help from the cheats. Maintaining relationships with friends while improving yourself, and starting a family and trying to go to work regularly all at once is quite the task.
One of my personal favorites in this game are the awesome cars you get to choose from. You start off with a scooter, but as you keep progressing in the game, more and more nicer expensive cars are made available.
As with the first Sims, a few problems come along as well. Getting stuck. I think every Sim fan out there knows exactly what i am talking about. Two people try to enter a door at once. They stand there for years and you have to give them new orders and move one out of the way of the other, then make the other one move through the door and have the other follow...it just gets quite annoying.
I found myself putting in massive ammounts of toilets and showers, because it seems to me that all the Sims living in your current household have to go to the bathroom or shower at the same time.
Another thing that is slightly annoying is the roudabout ways the sims use to get to things. For example, when you're living at mom's house, my sim always wants to sit in the chair on the far right wall. Instead of going to it right from the stove, she goes all the way around to sit down. There are plenty of other situations where this happens as well. When I am living at the mansion, I missed work once because my sim decided to go all the way around the house to get to the bus!
But the inconveniences are well worth the gameplay. I have yet to be disappointed.
