"The ability to release and re-catch the rope is all part and parcel of playing this game. Instead of just zipping around pulling off insane stunts, jumping gaps and grinding on top of barges, you are able to lead the boat elsewhere in single player mode."

"Lesser games in the extreme sports genre have a tendency to wade in a shallow pool of standard cliches, but "Wakeboarding Unleashed" keeps the focus squarely on the gameplay, where it should be. There aren't a lot of extra goodies -- things such as extra costumes or board decorations -- but there's a two-player co-op mode where one player controls the boat while the other rides the wakes. In the end, the game is more substance than style, and that's a good thing."
