Spider-Man: The Movie

THE GOOD:
Graphics, gameplay, story and extras are all superb! This is why I play video games.

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
The graphics are unbelievable. The story follows parts of the movie but you get to battle more villains like Vulture, Shocker & the Scorpion. The controls are easy and there are some way cool extras that you can unlock like story boards for the game and movie oh and some bonus games like "Pinhead Bowling" (you swing down the bowling lane and tople bad guys that are cinched up in webbing like bowling pins). Toby McGuire and Willem Defoe do the voice overs for Spidey and the Goblin and Bruce Campbell (Briso County, Evil Dead) is your wise cracking tour guide through the tutorial sections. He is also has a cameo in the movie as the wrestling announcer, Sam Rami the films director threw him a bone I think for his work in the Evil Dead movies. Oh and did I mention the GRAPHICS ARE...

This game was fun. Very interesting. The bad things were the web swinging sometimes but the most difficult was trying to use the map. The good was the graphics and the story line. It was just like the movie. And the cities were huge which let you explore more and more.

Gameplay lacked in some parts. Also you still can't go anywhere you want like we all wish we could do if we were Spider Man.

SUMMARY:
I am a big fan of Spider Man so after I seeen the movie I knew I had to play this game. After playing it I was satisfied but it still wasn't the perfect Spider Man game I was hoping for. I did like the fighting combos a lot. As well as the many bosses you face. Plus the mini games are fun (bowling anyone?). I recommend renting this game first since it lacks replay value.
