"While texturing, lighting, and modeling seem to be well in hand, animation is one visual sticking point so far. Cinematics and gameplay alike feature some inconsistencies in the smoothness of movement from Nova and other characters -- at some times they look perfectly clean, but other scenes show some skipping frames and jerky motions. The game certainly does make a pretty still picture, though, especially when dynamic lighting effects come into play from Nova's weapons and other sources. There's also obvious attention being paid to an interactive environment -- a fight in a dining hall, for example, lets the combatants completely trash all the furniture."
