If you the off-line version of the game, you can unlock Hard Mode. Beat it in Hard Mode for Very Hard Mode. You get more expierience and much better items in each of the harder modes.

This trick requires a Dreamcast keyboard. You can make your character perform different animated moves while you are in the game lobby. On your Dreamcast keyboard, hold down the "Alt" key and then press any of the function keys (F1 through F12) and your character will perform a different move for each key.
In Forest 1, on Normal, there is a wooden chest inside the little curve area. There is one box that almost always gives out Moon Atomizers (it always has for me). So, you can build up money with that, or keep them for online use. But the trick is being there for them. Note: You have to reset the map(turn game off and on, i think will do it) for this trick to work.

1. Set Zonde or Grants to your custom B button.
2. Set Resta or Anti to your custom R + B button.
3. Tap R then hit B. Do it quickly. It should hit your teamate.
**This doesn't damage, but gives you PB.**

Sometimes you come across a wierd item like a "delsaber's left arm" or a "book of KATANA1" well these items are actually used to help Dr. montague create a weapon for you. First off, you need to get one of these items. Second you need to finish the Job "Doc's secret plan", where you go and fight enemies in the ruins "test areas". Then, after you complete all the missions, you can go back and do the Job called "Doc Osto's research" and on pioneer 2. Dr. montague should be wandering around - go talk to him and he will say something queer like "go find items in the ruins or mines for me to make a weapon". Just have the item in your inventory and talk to the doc and he'll say "hold on a moment", leave and then come back back with a new weapon. (like Delsaber's Buster)

When you're making a new character are you tired of going to every character and putting in their code for their costumes? Here is an easier way. This is a code for all costumes:
Type: SHUGRADJYT in the character name box to enable all costumes
- To avoid being targeted by mines, any trap, or by enemies, hold "r" down and you will be able to run and not be slowed to walking speed by the enemies targeting device.

- To avoid traps in corridors, press start, then run through the corridor while the menu is up.
You won't slow down, and so won't be hit by any of them!
- Razonde + Rabarta (Gi- versions too) can be used to take out enemies from a distance (OBVIOUSLY),
but still do damage if you're in a neighbouring room/corridor.
They can't get you, but you can get them! Very useful in ruins!
- When starting out, buy a couple of telepipes, then go through an area picking up everything
you find until you have a full inventory. Return to Pioneer 2 and sell it all, and deposit
the money, repeat on Forest/Caves until you have enough money/items stocked up so that you
can feed your Mag early on and also get around without worrying about not having enough
Monomates and Monofluids! (Same applies later on, on v.hard you can build up loads of money
and items in no time at all!)
- Early on use long distance weapons, as your attacks will be weak, and you don't have much HP
to work with either! A lot of people I see online use Sabers early on, and usually they find
it hard going, mainly as they're more prone to attacks!
- There's one guy who calls himself DARK FALZ+ (Lv100), avoid him as he's a thief! (Didn't get anything off me though!)
That's it really, there's probably more, but I don't know if you want to hear it!!!
If you do, I'm usually online at the weekends under the name MARK Z (Lv66 at the mo),
so you're welcome to ask!
