Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising Cheats & Tips

First create a map with 2 teams. One team with about 52 cities or bases doesn't matter, and make the other team with only there HQ! Nothing ELSE!! Then make any amount of units to your choosing to place on the map for each team(I suggest 50 for both teams). Then when selecting the map to play on select 9500 Dollars to recieve from each city. Make SURE THAT COLIN IS ONE OF THE CO's you picked for the map and make him be the one with the 50 cities, and make another Co for the other team like Drake or Adder who ever is a Co with reguler firepower. Now Play as Colin! Now wait for you Super Co Power to build up and wait till you have 999999 Dollars and activate Colins Super Power, Power Of Money! You should have a Attack Percentage of 999% for most units. The rest of your units will have 800% or 700% maybe 250% at the weakest for tank units. Hope this Works for you guys!

When in any last mission in a country youll see a factory with three spaces on the front. Move a unit in front of the space and it will block their production of units. (Note) Umm make sure you protect the unit from attack or the enemy will destroy the unit blocking the factory.

take advantage of Sami's capturing abilities. If you can get a couple infantry close to an enemy HQ using an APC, they can capture it even if their health is as low as 7hp.

In the first Black Hole Mission (Hot Pursuit), choose Andy as the left CO, Grit as the middle CO, and Jess as the right CO.

When you get to the point at which you must destroy the Black Cannons, get Jess and Andy to build MD Tanks (not Neotanks), and move them up with a few Rocket Launchers from Grit. Whatever you do, DON'T destroy the seams leading into the Cannon area, or you will be doomed as Sturm's mighty army comes flooding out. The Black Cannons will target the MD Tanks since they are more expensive than Rocket Launchers. Keep pounding away with the Rocket Launchers until the three Black Cannons are destroyed.

Note: This could well leave you with a fairly low Power score, so you may have to attack the northern army a bit to increase it.

To get an easy HQ capture play as Sami, get up to your enemy's HQ and use your super power. Sami's super power makes it so any infantry/mech can capture Properties in 1 turn, even if they are damaged.

Sensei create APC and infantry for bottom centre base build cruiser carry infantry with lander to capture middle airport(try and avoid the battleships) create bomber to help Max destroy pipe so you get a 2 way win

create rockets as eagle carry east destroy minicannon and then strike pipe
Kanbei create infantry and lander to carry right and create cruisers and battleships to fend of B copters and bomber(they attack the rocket)capture that base as Eagle to produce quicker rockets
Andy should capture all bases and fire silos at invaders carry 2 units south so Hawke can't win by beating all of Andy's unit(He has to get past Eagle)

The AI will ALWAYS attempt to attack your APC units. You can use this to your advantage by producing two APC unit, one for transportation, the other to lure your enemy in so you can attack with rockets or artillery.

Capitalize buildings, with the help of your infantry. This will make you get 1000 bucks a day. You can capitalize buildings, airports, ports, bases, and HQ's. Note: If you capitalize the opponents HQ, you will automatically win. Don't capitalize an HQ, unless you want to win.

Choose Max for this Mission. First build an APC and an Infantry, and get the latter into the APC. Move the APC toward the Airport in the middle of the Map. Drop off the Infantry, and block off the bridge to the north woith the APC as you do so. Hopefully (although you may require backup), the Infatry can Capture the Airport before the APC is destroyed.

Now, build something near the HQ like an Infantry, and keep it there so you can't be routed. Hopefully you can get a Bomber out of the Airport. Use the rivers to avoid the AA-units and fly up to the connection in the pipe. Drop a single round of bombs on (assuming you still have 10HP left), and you win. Your Power Rating should be okay as long as you destroy a few Units.

Successfully complete all the Black Hole campaign levels to unlock Adder at the store.

Play as Colin
Buy Grit or Olaf at the store.

Play as Drake
Successfully complete all the Green Earth campaign levels to unlock Drake at the store.

Play as Eagle
Successfully complete all the Green Earth campaign levels to unlock Eagle at the store.

Play as Grit
Successfully complete all the Blue Moon campaign levels to unlock Grit at the store.

Play as Hachi
Successfully complete all the hard mode campaign levels to unlock Hachi at the store. Alternately, buy everything in his store.

Play as Hawke
Successfully complete all the Black Hole campaign levels to unlock Hawke at the store.

Play as Jess
Buy Drake or Eagle at the store.

Play as Kanbei
Successfully complete all the Yellow Comet campaign levels to unlock Kanbei at the store.

Play as Lash
Successfully complete all the Black Hole campaign levels to unlock Lash at the store.

Play as Nell
Successfully complete all the campaign levels to unlock Nell at the store.

Play as Olaf
Successfully complete all the Blue Moon campaign levels to unlock Olaf at the store.

Play as Sensei
Buy Kanbei or Sonja at the store.

Play as Sonja
Successfully complete all the Yellow Comet campaign levels to unlock Sonja at the store.

Play as Sturm
Successfully complete campaign mode with an average "A" rank. Alternately, get an average of an "S" rank on either normal campaign or hard campaign mode.

Sound Test
Successfully complete campaign mode with an "S" rank on either normal campaign or hard campaign mode to unlock the Sound Test at the store.

The map to the secret lab level is in the unoccupied building across from Lash's headquarters in the Toybox level. Note: You must capture the city in order to get the map.

In the inking Feeling level, the secret map is found in the city in the southern-most city on the Western Isle. Note: You must capture the city in order to get the map.

Yellow Comet CO
On the final mission, you are prompted to chose an Orange Star, Blue Moon, then Green Earth CO. If you wish to use a Yellow Comet CO, press Up or Down until you get to it at the CO select menu.

Neo-tanks
Find one of the Black Hole Army maps. Finish the missions that the map gives you. You will be able to build Neo-tanks, with only that country. This is also helpful for future missions in which you can use COs from other nations.

Fog of war
In campaign mode, during the fog of war your enemy can always see you, even if you are outside the visual range of all enemy units. For example, an enemy rocket is on plain four squares left of your recon that is also on plain. The rocket can still fire on you, even though it should not be able to see you. An exception is when your unit is in a forest and there are no enemy units beside you.

To block an enemy base, move a unit on it. If you block all enemy bases, you can rout the enemy. I always use this.

When you join two damaged units that HP don't add up evenly to 10 the surplus gets converted into funds. For example if you join two units that have 9 HP each your fund total will increase.

To have master chief become an infantry unit, create a map with a green HQ. When you go to play on it, select a Black Hole CO to command the green team. When an infantry unit goes into battle, it'll look like Master Chief!

During the campaign if you liberate Yellow Comet before Blue Moon than you can use a YC officer in the mission "Factory Blues"
