Unlock Master difficulty
Win one of Pawn, Knight, or Bishop series on Expert difficulty in Grand Prix mode. This will unlock the Master difficulty for that series alone.

Delete saved games
Hold L+R while turning on your Gameboy Advance. When it asks you to delete your games, select "Yes".

Unlock Cars

Effect	Code
Sly Joker car	Win the Pawn, Knight and Bishop tracks on regular difficulty
Falcon MK-II car	Win any set of tracks on Expert difficulty
Fighting Comet car	Win the Pawn, Knight, Bishop and Queen tracks on Master difficulty
Silver Thunder car	Win the Queen track on the Expert difficulty
Stingray car	Win the Pawn, Knight and Bishop tracks on the Expert difficulty
Jet Vermilion car	Unlock all other cars, then complete Championship mode 255 times. OR... Complete each series on Master Class with each of the racers

Erase All Data

To erase all data off your game, hold the L and R buttons as you turn on your GBA. A prompt will then ask for confirmation.

Get the Jet Vermillion (easy)

visit this site(and don't worry you don't need to download the translator:
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/afzj/vermil/index.html
at the bottom of the page is an area to input your F-Zero:max. vol. file name...
It will give you a password...open your F-Zero game,go to the grand prix vehicul select and press L, R, start, R, L, select...enter your password and voila! you get the Jet Vermillion!

Tournament password

Go to the rankings screen and hold L. Now press UP, RIGHT, RIGHT, B, LEFT, B, RIGHT A. The name of the track at the top will turn into a password. You can use this to enter a special Nintendo tournament (I'm not sure when it's held).
