With attaching the Wireless Adapter before the Title Screen appears. Under Continue you will get Crossover Battle Mode.With this mode you can face Shademan and link up Wirelessly to Boktai 2 to see who the fastest is to beat Shademan using the EXE 5 and Boktai 2 System.Requires Two Wireless Adapters.

What chaos lord you fight depends on the time you defeated the DS navis

This is more of a tip, it really helps you defeat Navis quickly to get their DS and SP chips. The chips you need in your folder are

4 Invis *
4 Areagrab ( It is easiler to have * as the letter code but it is not really necessary )
4 GunDelS3
1 FullCust( Optional )
1 Dark Meteor

* It helps to have the Fullcust or an AreaGrab as your regular chip or if you have the custom program

As soon as the custom screen appears look if you have two GunDelS3 if you do hold on to them. If you have the FullCust select it as the first chip and you can throw away useles chips that take up space.If you have two AreaGrabs on the first turn select them and also use an invis, if you such a evading the enemies attacks. As the battle begins us the Areagrabs so that the navis has only one row to move in on the next turn us the Chaos Naplam soul and select an invis and two or one GunDelS3. As soon as the battle starts use the invi, quickly charge for the Dark Meteor attack then release. As soon as that is done position yourself in the middle of your enemy's first row and use the GunDelS3's.

The Dark Meteors pound the navis while the GunDel's make the navis not invisible so the navis takes every hit from the Meteors

DarkTornado-After the fourth day (Cloudman's Scenario), go to the Oran Island Mines in area 6 of the Mines. (real world)

DarkMeteor-A girl on the cruise ship sells it to you for 3000z.

DarkThunder-After the second day (Shademan's Scenario), go to the area in front of SciLab and find a boy standing around. Answer all of his questions correctly to receive DarkThunder.

DarkRecovery-There is a hiden heel navi in Oran Area 3 talk to him and he gives you DarkRecovery after surviving a virus battle.

DarkSound- The guy standing behind higsby's shop sells it to you for 2000z.

DarkInvis-Type in Lotto number:68799876 at the numberman lotto machine.

DarkWide-A Black girl navi in SciLab area 4 sells it to you for 1000z.

DarkLance-Take the quiz from the kid standing near the state in front of the SciLab.

DarkDrill-A blue navi sells it to you for 3000z in End Area 1 (note: he is hidden so you have to take an invisible path in End Area 1.)

DarkCricle-Near the end of the game when you enter the Nebula Base there will be a console jack in and get the BMD to get the DarkCircle.

DarkPlus-jack in and go to Undernet 1 and look for a blue mystery data to get DarkPlus.

If you are looking for a good combo to defeat viruses easily to collect more chips,here it is :
Requirements : Napalm Soul;Meteors;Grass Seed;Fan
Hoe the combo works :
1.Use NapalmSoul
2.Throw a Grass seed to the middle of the enemy's field and use fan
3.Then just use Meteor !
I bet no viruses cam still alive after hit by this death combo.This is good for fighting Navis also.

The Batty virus floats up and down on one panel. When they're in the air, you can't attack them. However, there is a way to damage them without even touching them.

First of all, use a Wind or AirShot chip to push them to the back row. Then, place a RockCube in the same row as the Batty you want to delete. Finally, use an AirShot to push the RockCube to the same panel as the Batty. When the virus comes down, it will hit the RockCube and take 200 damage.

For anybody having trouble defeating fire-type viruses, here's a good way to weaken them. All you have to do is use OceanSeed from the middle panel of your area to turn the opponent's entire area into ocean panels. Fire-type viruses and navis lose HP while on an ocean panel, and with nowhere to go except an ocean panel, they'll continue to lose HP until the battle is over or the panels revert back to normal.

When not Mega in Liberation Missions the navis have the ability to use DS Navi chips. Good stuff.

To get the Gun Del Sol EX, simply do the crossover battle and get up to 150 points, put 50 in the Zoktai Trader, with 150 you get 3 chances to get Gun Del Sol EX

To use a charge attack that does 100 damage or more, use GyroSoul(sorry MMBN5 Team Colonel users,)and use an air type chip that does 40 more damage then your propeller will star spinning after that use busters ups and make sure you have 2 or more attack +1 in your navi customizer then use your charge tornado and it will do 100 or more damage depending on what you do.

If you have problems finding the random location navies then this is for you. An easy ways to find all of those random location navies are to go to the area that they are found in and,

1. Find a mystery data and save before you open it. Some mystery data have viruses in them, the viruses that come out are random and some times it is a net navi that will randomly appear in that area.

2. If the mystery data has a viruses in it then restart your GBA, and open it again. If you do this enough you will eventually encounter the net navi you are looking for.

Here are some tips to help you make a good folder

If evasiveness is not in your area, then place some anti chips and invisibl chips in your folder. If you arent good with the buster, then place some good similar coded chips that do a good number of damage. This also applies to a poor evader. Ones who rely on souls should place chips in the folder that assist that soul. Also SoulT+1s (NCP) arent bad either. Lets take Napalm Soul. Napalm Soul can add 40 damage to fire types and turn any fire chip into a Napalm Blast. Place many fire chips in your folder, and for that soul in particular, you could use the GrasSeed as fire does 2X damage when enimies use those attacks. Also consider the Boxer and CosmoPris P.A.s as they use fire type attacks. Here is a chart that helps you with the Team Protoman Souls.

Now, anyone who can use the MegaBuster well and can evade well can go more random with their folder. In that case, I recommend the Soul/P.A. folder, a folder foucused solely on P.A.s and Soul Unisons. I also recommend that you place as many Recov Chips as you need. (Less for evaders, more for poor evaders.) Follow this chart:

If you're having trouble keeping your HP up, then this will help you out tremendously. Talk to a golden program in any area of the net that lets you go through a liberation again. When you start the liberation, you'll be at your maximum HP. Simply retreat immediately after you start to resume normal gameplay with your HP fully restored.

To enter these codes, have the desired Navi Customizer Program highlighted in the Navi Customizer screen. Hold the Right (-> button on the D-Pad, then enter the 10 button code (Composed of different combinations of the buttons A, B, L and R) for that NCP to compress it.
Once compressed, the Navi Customizer Program's size will be reduced by one block, or square. Only non-textured programs can be compressed (AutoRun cannot be compressed either), and inputting the code again will decompress it.Code Effect

SearchMan's chip also has a special chip effect in this game. Press A and B at the same time when using his chip to destroy all battlechips the opponent may have in their possession.

ShadeMan's SP and DS chip can have a status effect other than flinching, depending on the command you input. While performing these button commands, the A button must be held down.
