Use Yoshi for the Home-Run Contest.Grab the Bat.Tap X or Y quickly to shorthop.Use Flutter Kick on Sandbag whilst shorthopping.Use Baseball Smash.DID YOU KNOW THAT:Pichu's Baseball Smash does more damage from the back and at slight range.Because he hits vertically when you hold A on his smash, Captain Falcon should use his Falcon Punch instead? My life dream is to die a quick, painless death?
Hey! Hyper siblings here!Wanna do the Suicide glitch? OK!! XD1.Go to training mode2. choose any character ( for peach haters choose peach)3. Go to any stage4. put the speed at 1/4 ( fastest)5. Get a ton of bombs6. Stand in the middle 7. Do a lower smash attack8. BOOOOOM!!!!!!
After you get 5000KOS you unlock a new option in mulitplayer mode. This new option keeps your score for you in the time mode but you have to turn it on before the match first.
kirbycides are attacks where Kirby forces to kill the opponent with an attack or throw. However, in only one kirbycide Kirby has a chance to avoid an SD.Here's a list of all the kirbycides which were found by t!mmy I believe: Swallow: Kirby will swallow the enemy and can walk off the stage. The enemy automatically dies, but Kirby has an amount of frames to survive from his SD depending on his opponent. Here's the list of frames Kirby has to avoid his self-destruct: (Credit to smashwiki.com/wiki)Bowser: 7 Captain Falcon: 6 Donkey Kong: 6 Ganon: 6 Samus: 6 Marth: 4 Roy: 4 Mewtwo: 4 Falco: 3 Fox: 3 Link: 3 Peach: 3 Sheik: 3 Y. Link: 3 Zelda: 3 Dr. Mario: 1 Game & Watch: 1 Luigi: 1 Mario: 1 Pikachu: 1 Yoshi: 1 Ice Climber: 0 Jigglypuff: 0 Kirby: 0 Ness: 0 Pichu: 0Note: It has been found that King Kirby 90 has SD cancelled when kirbyciding another Kirby. (PAL) And t!mmy has SD cancelled when kirbyciding Jigglypuff. (NTSC)Forward Throw: This kirbycide is quite hard to perform since opponents can intercept the throw and the throw animation takes a little long. If you're near an edge, Kirby is able to jump off the stage with an enemy. However, Kirby often SD's himself before the enemy.Back Throw: This is quite the same of Forward Throw. If near an edge, you can fall off the stage with the enemy. This throw can also be broken free from, but at least Kirby often SD's himself after the enemy.Up Throw: This throw needs to be done with Kirby being at the very end of an edge and also facing the opposite direction from the edge. Kirby will jump up, but miss the stage on his way down. However, this kirbycide is different because it cannot be broken free from. But it also gives the opponent a few frames to avoid the SD.That's all the kirbycides. Use them to your advantage if you can.
To see several Japanese versions of the Nintendo systems in the trophy room, as well as a bonus Virtual Boy, switch the language on the game to Japanese. This only works on the American, not the PAL version of the game.
Step 1: Get sound testStep 2: On sound test, play Saria's SongStep 3: After palying Saria's song, go back to the start menu.Step 4: Go back to the main menu, the music should be different.
After unlocking the Sound Test (portions of this trick can be done before unlocking the Sound Test, however), you can change the music that plays on some of the stages. When selecting them, hold L or R until the stage loads. Each human player competing in the match must also hold L or R. The stage's music will change. This trick works on the following stages: - Infinite Glacier: Icicle Mountain (Retro theme from Balloon Fight for NES) - Termina: Great Bay (The theme of Lost Woods from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64) - Hyrule: Temple (A remix of various themes from Fire Emblem titles) - Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Island (Stage 1-1 and world 1 map remix from Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES) - Kanto: Pokémon Stadium (The Trainer Battle theme from Pokémon Gold & Silver for GBC) - F-Zero Grand Prix: Big Blue (A theme from Mach Rider for NES) - Eagle Land: Onett (The theme of EarthBound) - Mushroom Kingdom OR Mushroom Kingdom II (The Fever theme from Dr. Mario) - Special Stages: Battlefield (The theme used in Multi-Man Melee fights) - Special Stages: Final Destination (The theme used in Event 51, The Showdown) Sometimes, the music will change automatically (12% chance).
Go to the Sound Test and listen to any music you like, press the B button, then go to the Trophy Gallery and you should be hearing the music that you were playing in the Sound Test earlier
Go to training mode and continuously select 'pokeball' from the menu. Whilst throwing them, look out for your favourite pokemon to appear, and STOP on that one. After it has done its move, go to 1-p adventure or classic mode, and the first pokeball you open will be the one preveously found on training. After this, the rest of the pokeballs you open are random. A good trick to use in this way is to do it with mew, because you get bonus points for seeing her.
Infinite Super Scope Ammo: (Any 2 characters) Pick up a Super Scope. Fire two fully charged shots, then three slightly charged shots, and then six of the smallest shots (just tap A twice). Then charge (hold A) and in the middle of it, let the other character hit you. If you did it correctly, you will have infinite ammo for the Super Scope.
Spinning eggs: (Any Character) Throw Pokeballs until a Chancey appears. Take one of her eggs and throw it up against a solid surface (not one you can fall though). When it hits the ceiling it will spin, not crack like capsules do.
Wave Dashing: (Any Character) Hold down with any character. Then move the stick one notch to the right or left (depending which way you are facing). Then press Y and immediately after that, press L. Your character should have slid a little bit. If you can repeat this effectively, it can actually be a better means of transportation than running. Use Luigi for the best results.
No damage counter: (Any character) Go to training mode with any character. Press start and highlight 'reset'. Fall off the edge and right when the character dies, press start and quickly reset. The character should have no damage counter until you exit Training mode.
Maximum points: (Any character) If you continually break your shield on Classic, Adventure, or All Star mode until one minute is remaining on the first course, you will get the maximum amount of points. This may be more difficult with Jigglypuff.
Home Run Contest glitch: (Any character that can grab) Hit the sand bag off the edge and before it hits the ground, grab it. Don't throw it, but let it struggle out. It will be on the measuring part of the course but your time will keep going as normal.
Fire Shell: (Any character) Jump on the red flying Koopa twice with any character on the first level in Adventure Mode. Grab the shell and bring it to the Yoshi team. If you throw the shell at a Yoshi, it will send him away in flames.
Grab Birdo Eggs: (Any character) If you go to the Mushroom Kingdom II and wait for Birdo to come out, you can catch the eggs that she shoots in the air. They sometimes do heavy damage.
Game Freeze: (Any character) Make a U shape with the blocks in Green Greens. Drop several green shells in once you've mad it. Jump on them and the game will freeze. (Try this one at your own risk.)
Go to adventure mode and when you get to the Kirbies with the powers (otherly known as team kirby) beat them in less then 30 seconds and u will battle giga kirby. I recemend Roy and Donkey kong. For Roy keep hitting b+up near the little Kirbies. For Donkey kong keepuseing b+down. Good luck battleing giga kirby!
Use Down B, the metal characters are so heavy that they will just flop around as you trap them within an infinate combo that can easily max out the damage % counter to 999% and the combo still won't break, have fun
Be Jigglypuff. Keep dodging attacks and try to get next to Giga Bowser's head. Right when you are touching it press Down+B. He will go flying off the screen. Sometimes it takes two tries to kill him. Once you kill him 3 times, you still have to worry about Mewtwo and Ganandorf. If you aren't very good at Jigglypuff like me, just keep jumping from one side to the other so they can't hurt you. Kepp doing it until a good item (Motion Sensor Bomb, Bob-Omb, Pokeball, etc.) falls onto the arena. Grab it and throw it at them. You can get them up to a lot of damage and eventually kill them this way. It worked for me!!
Dr. MarioWhen you start go to Gandorf then punch him punch him 2 times and kick him once you've done that go to Giga Bowser and throw tablets and him 4 times then go to Gandorf and throw him to Mewtwo and throe Gandorf again but down the edge then he will have 2 lives then go to Giga Bowser Keep on hit him until he has 129% then throw him away then hit Mewtwo until he has 100% this will help with Dr. Mario alotLuigiWhen you have started run to Giga Bowser and do Strong attacks until he has 129% or more then go to Gandorf and hit him until 100% or more then throw him down the edge then go to Mewtwo and keep hitting him until 100% and throw him down the edge then do the same thing again
To do the black hole glitch with only 2 controllers, (I didn't come up with this) Have the Ice Climbers & Peach, get Popo & Nana (Or Nana & Popo, depends on outfit) infinite ammo Super Scopes, desynch them so they shoot the bullets like this, ......... not this.. .. .. .. then get Peach to throw about 17 (yes) turnips up into the line of fire, then if it worked, INSTANT BLACK HOLE! (And up to 2 characters of your choice playing, lol)Have fun!
Have 4 pairs ice climers on 1 team and peach by her self.all ice climbers MUST have a infdent super scope.have 1 of the 4 stand on below the roof top. and the other next to the other piler.then make the ice climbers shoot at each other.then peach stars thoing tupis from under. only put 15 tupis.NOTE; go to hrule temple
If you have lost all of your lives press Start and you will borrow a life from your teamate, as long as your teamate has more than one life left. [Sarcasm]Be sure to ask your fellow team member before borrowing one![/Sarcasm] LoL
Go to Regular Match and play Adventure Mode as Bowser. When it starts, just fight yor way through the level until you reach the bridge where all the Koopa Paratroopas are(the flying turtles), including the red one. Go to the edge of the bridge, drop down, and traverse the small gap right under the bridge. Once your standing there, walk toward the wall and press B+Down. If done correctly, Bowser will use his Bowser Bomb but he'll be frozen(not like ice) but with the timer still going as normal(he will look as if he's just sitting there).
Extra Jump: (Captain Falcon or Ganondorf) Double jump into the air with Captain Falcon or Ganondorf and use his down+B move. After the attack is finished and he is still in the air, he will get an extra jump.
If you start up SSBM with a Pikmin save on your memory card you will get a free trophy.
Once an opponent or 2 is close to you, use either down+B or Left or Right+B to get them to at least 60-126%. One of the opponents must be Mewtwo or Ganondorf or ness or falco.sincerly, avatar617poke.
To unlock Dr. Mario, you must complete 1-P Classic Mode using Mario at any difficulty/stock and without continuing.
To unlock Falco, you must complete the 100-Man Melee mode. Defeat Falco after you complete that, and you can play as him.
To unlock the evil Ganondorf, complete Event 29. You will then be challenged by Ganondorf; defeat him and you can play as him from then on.
To unlock Jigglypuff, simply complete the game in 1-P Mode at any difficulty/stock (Adventure or Classic).
To unlock Marth from the Fire Emblem series, complete Classic mode with all 14 regular characters (not ones you've unlocked). Marth will then challenge you; beat him to gain him as a selectable character. Alternatively, you can simply use every character as a human player in VS. Mode, and get a challenge from Marth that way.
To unlock Mewtwo, play in VS. Mode for either 20 hours (Combined VS. Play Time total), or play 700 matches in that mode. After either requirement is met, Mewtwo will challenge you; beat him and you can play as Mewtwo!
To unlock Pichu, complete Event 37 (Legendary Pokémon). Pichu will challenge you; win and you'll be able to play as Pichu!
To unlock Roy, also from the Fire Emblem series, complete Adventure Mode using Marth at any difficulty/stock. Roy will challenge you; defeat him and you can play as him.
To unlock Young Link, complete Classic mode with 10 different characters at any difficulty/stock (2 of those characters must be Link and Zelda). You'll then be challenged by Young Link; defeat him to be able to play as him in the game!
As soon as the match ends in multiplayer matches, hold X or Y (or A and B for characters with more than two victory poses) and you can select which victory pose your character performs, that is if your character won the match.
Pick C. Falcon as your character. Set to 3 lives and NORMAL. In 1, 2, 4, and 7, use B to kill'em. Aahhh... Break the targets, now it's something that's not so hard. 5: Giant foe, this is not so easy, that can happend that the computers in your team does self-destruct, but try. Snag the trophies, easy, do that. 8: Team of foes, here, u must fight a team with foes... Do B and fwd+B to kill them. 9: find the exit, this one is easy, coz' C. Falcon is so fast. 10: Metal Battle, he flies harder than u, SO? U are much faster than him, and u don't fall so fast, so kill him/her. 11: Final destination, u meets Master Hand, but where is the Crazy one? Decrease his damage meter to 150 HP, and then will Crazy Hand come. Though, but u have three lives. Crazy Hand KO gives 80000.
f you can manage to complete Classic Mode in less than 15 minutes without continuing on Normal or higher, you will battle both the Master Hand and Crazy Hand at the end. To get the Crazy Hand trophy, complete Adventure Mode on Hard or Very Hard difficulty without continuing.
If you Hold down L or R in any of the following stages, it will change the music.- Infinite Glacier: Icicle Mountain (Retro theme from Balloon Fight for NES) - Termina: Great Bay (The theme of Lost Woods from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64) - Hyrule: Temple (A remix of various themes from Fire Emblem titles) - Yoshi's Island: Yoshi's Island (Stage 1-1 and world 1 map remix from Super Mario Bros. Mario) - Special Stages: Battlefield (The theme used in Multi-Man Melee fights) - Special Stages: Final Destination (The theme used in Event 51, The Showdown)
When you're practicing the Target bonus round, hold, L or R while choosing the character, and loading to change the music. If you retry, hold L or R again.
When you are on the screen which it shows the stage you are going to, press and hold L R and START at the same time and release once the music starts.
While viewing a trophy in the close up mode, press start to cycle through backrounds. This shows the GC's lighting effect cpabilities.
In Dino Wrangling event match, choose Peach. When you start, go to the highest middle platform and keep using Down Smash. If Yoshi gets caught in the Down Smash, you're lucky. If you keep using it, it can rise Yoshi's damage really quickly! I even got him over 300% damage in 15 seconds!
With Kirby, if you have a power and you dont want it, just use his taunt to ditch the power, just like in SSB.
If you want to get falco but the wireframe people keep killing you all you have to do is this.1.pick donkey kong as your character 2.go anywhere on the level[i suggest the bottom]3.use your down+b attack forever till you beat them all [you have to keep pressing b]
If you're having trouble beating event 51, even with the Jigglypuff rest tactic, I have another strategy that can be easier or harder. To start off, choose Kirby for his jumps. While, yes, Jigglypuff has the same jumps, he doesn't have an extra vertical recovery move like Kirby has with his Up+B.Now, as soon as the battle starts, run to an edge, jump off and grab the ledge and hang there for a sec until the 3 enemies gather around the ledge to attack you. Then you jump off and take 2 or 3 puffs AWAY from the stage, and then use the rest of your recovery to get back to the ledge. While you were doing this, the chances are that Mewtwo and Bowser fell off while trying to breathe fire or charge a shadow ball. I have even gotten Ganondorf charging a Warlock Punch once. Just repeat this until all are dead or (more than likely) Ganondorf is the only one left with 1 or 2 lives. If you did this right you should probably have 1 or 2 lives left, so if you're good with Kirby, jump into the fray. If not, float back and forth until you find a good item, then get it and throw it at him, eventually he will die like this.
Many people have trouble hitting the sandbag over 1,500 meters. Yoshi is the best character to use for this contest. Jump above the sandbag and then press down A to dish out damage. Do this about four or five times and then swing the bat. The sandbag will go extremely far. If your an expert at this, you can probably get the sandbag to 140% damage. I got over 2,000 meters with Yoshi which is quite hard to do. You will also get the paper mario trophy and Yoshi's Island.
To get Luigi easily just do these three simple things. Start a new Adventure Mode. Put the game on Very Easy mode and your stock full then start your game with Donkey Kong. Do the first level and before you go into the checkered area at the end stop, wait until the clock says something like this....2:42:09. Make sure that the seconds end with 2 like the 42 shown above. When you see two quickly go across the line. After that you'll see a pic of Mario jumping and Luigi stepping on him. You'll have to fight Peach and Luigi. Use the Slam ground attack (down+B) until they are severely hurt and deliver the final blow. Now play through the rest of the Adventure mode until you get to the screen that says "a foe has appeared." You'll fight Luigi and like before just use the Slam Ground Attack to weaken him and then deliver the final blow. Enjoy Luigi.
Okay just fall 2 the bottom and climb your way up again until you see an opening. Take it. Keep going forward until you drop. Then your done!!!
If you want to have easy victories, play as any character versus a computer ness level 9 on the jungle japes, on stock battle with 1 life.when the battle starts, don't move. just stand and watch ness jumping, trying to attack you and falling.no pain and very easy.
Quickly do a little jump. Then do a A+> to do a meteor smash and knock out Bowser.P.S.:I cleared this event in 95 hundreds.
Be D.K. once it starts, keep on doing Down+B. If this does not work, use Up+B. If this does not work, use both. Hope you enjoy this.... Cheat thing!:-)
Make the computer a level 9 Bowser. Choose Fox as your character. Play it on a flat stage, like Final Destination or Corneria. Rapidly press B to continuously hit Bowser with your Blaster. He will keep using Fire Breath. Once he gets near you, jump over him and direct your B + Up to the other side and keep using the Blaster. Once he gets to high damage, use a smash attack to kill him. I got him to 462% before I got tired of pressing B. Try getting him to 999%.Note: This works best on stock matches.
i found an easy way to get 5 to 7 coins by doing classic mode and using kirby over and over on race to the finish take the route through the power room because kirby has multiple jumps and u should get to the finish with 5 coins
this a good trick set a Vs match to stock and have so you have only one life and choose any character make sure though that the computer is ness lvl 9 and set to the second Dk lvl (the lower one i cant remember the name) and when the match begins DONT MOVE AT ALL! ness will fly trough the air and try and attack you but in falls in the water and dies and you win! (only do with one player)
Go to Yoshi's Island/Story or from a Chansey from a Poke'ball, grab an egg, and throw it at your feet. If it's an "eggxloding" egg it won't hurt you.
An easy way to beat dino-wrangling is to choose someone quick(like fox) and when the match starts quickly run at yoshi and he should fall off the edge(I beat it in 53 milaseconds)
Most people have trouble on Event Match #51, so I will show all of you an easy way to clear it.To beat Event Match #51, use Jigglypuff. She is the best character to use for this Event. First, take care of Giga Bowser by pressing Down and B at the same time on him, that move is Rest. You should destroy one of his lives in 2-3 hits. Repeat that process until you beat Giga Bowser. Now for Ganondorf and Mewtwo. Keep flying over them and dodge them. Watch out for Ganondorf's Up B attack. It can reach you and hurt you bad if you're not careful. Keep dodging Mewtwo and Ganondorf until you come across strong items, like a Pokeball or a Bob-Omb. Throw items at Mewtwo and Ganondorf until they are no more.Note: This will take at least 10 minutes to do unless you are a real quickster at tough event matches as this one.
The Final Showdown. (Not really) This has the Master Hand in it. And to make it a lot harder, the Crazy Hand is in it also. For this Event, use Captain Falcon. Keep using the Up A (The air kick on the ground) On the Master Hand until you defeat him. Do the same thing with the Crazy Hand. You should beat them then.Note: Their attacks are very dangerous. Dodge as many of them as you can.
In one player mode defeat your opponent and press Up ont he D Pad to taunt your opponenet just before he dies. Get your character to be in a taunt when the camera goes to check out the scores and you'll get 500 extra points. This is known as the "Fighters Stance."
Play Adventure Mode with any character on Normal difficulty or higher, and get to Bowser without continuing. If you beat Bowser without continuation, his trophy will come back from the dead and transform into Giga Bowser. If you manage to defeat him again without continuing, you will get the Giga Bowser trophy.
As Falco, you can do a meteor smash with the left+b move. Make sure the opponent is in the air and then hit him with the left+b move. The opponent will fall down like a meteor smash.
In any Melee Make the ice climbers in any slot but not yours trust me it does'nt work with you. When the purple ice climber is killed the pink will still live and attack anyone but your team if you have one and if it is on your team.Good for your team like having 2 for the price of 1!
In TINY Melee Make Falco in slot 3 and you in slot 2. Put the stage to dream land and do nothing. falco will triple jump over the edge and he can't do anything!
While looking at the credits or playing that shooting game whatever, press start to fast-foward through the credits. To stop, press start again.
Ever wanted to be an annoying bug that makes you itch? Now you can! Make it be tiny meelee with only poison mushrooms, and bunny ears and be a small character like Pichu. Get bunny ears, and then the mushroom and hop around like an annoying little vermin!P.S.- this was my friend's idea.
Fox and Falco each have secret taunts that can only be performed on their respective stages (Corneria or Venom). It can be done only once per match. As either Fox or Falco, press Left and Right on the Control Pad repeatadily making sure not to hit the center of the Control Pad as well as up or down. If done correctly, Fox/Falco will shake for a few moments. Then, the StarFox crew will say some humorous lines and the taunt is over. Its merely for entertainment means. You can list to the StarFox crew's sayings through the Sound Test.
Seel glitch: (Fox) While Fox, run over the Seel's head in Poke Floats. Make sure you're running full speed and too the right. If you did it correct, you should fall strait through the float.
As Fox, you can do a meteor smash with the left+b move. Make sure the opponent is in the air and then hit him with the left+b move. The opponent will fall down like a meteor smash.
As Fox,, go to Pokefloats. Grab a super mushroom and wait until you see a Snorlax. Go to the left-most part of Snorlax. Then, start running right and you should fall through. Keep trying many times.
(Hint: Training is easiest) Select Fox as your character and choose either Corneria or Venom levels. Push Start/Pause button and set the computer to "STAND". Push start again. Place your thumb on the D-Pad and rotate it clock-wise. After doing "C'Mon" a bunch of times, he will kneel and conversation between Peppy and Slippy will begin. (hint: this is not the summon the arwings taunt!)
Go into training mode (this is possible in any mode, bue is easiest in training) and be Fox. Go to the Corneria or Venom levels. Leave the computer set to 'Stand'. Now put your thumb on the D-Pad and rotate it clockwise. Eventually, after doing a bunch of normal taunts, he will spin around and kneel. After a few seconds of doing this, he will jump up, put his fist in the air, and a conversation between Peppy and Slippy will ensue. Note: This is NOT the secret taunt where he summons the Arwings, but a different one.
i learn this trick from my cousin. first go to traning mode. be mewtwo and your foe bowser. go to the right wall in the middle and bring bowser with you. use your shadow ball and don't let go. you should slide near the wall press start over and over agian then... volia! you made a combo! you also get a trophy 2 times if you did it right. have fun!
Extra Jump: (Captain Falcon or Ganondorf) Double jump into the air with Captain Falcon or Ganondorf and use his down+B move. After it is finished and he is still in the air, he will get an extra jump.
Taunt dodge: (Ganondorf) Ganondorf's taunt actually raises him off the ground so that ground attacks and shells will go under him while he's off the ground.

Go to 100 man melee and choose Donkey Kong.Use his down+b attack until all off the enemies die.(you don't have to hold down the whole time once you get going just keep pressing b)
To get the classic yoshi level from the n64 version of the game, hit over 1,300 feet in the homerun contest. To do this, choose yoshi and jump and press A down on the punching bag 4 times. Try to get directly above it so after the four times you will get it to at least 100 to 105% damage. then, get the bat on the side of the platform, and do a SMASH HIT (a -> with the bat. if u get over 1,300 feet, you will get the classic yoshi level from the n64 version! (it might be over 1,350, but im not sure because i got it to 1,2056 but it didnt work, burt then i got it to 1,3054 and it worked.)It might take a few tries, its worth it tough!
On home Run hit 400 Meters.or on US Version hit 1,315 Feet.
you must be patient and accurate when trying for this. what you have to do it grab the baseball bat, run to the punching bag but dont run to the other side of it. press the joystick up with A at the same time so he does his slam attack upward. the punching bag should go up. when it comes back down, jump in the air when it's in the air too and kick it down with A and joystick down so you do your electric kick thing. quickly do your slam attack again (the upward kick with joystick up and A)again, when the bag comes down again repeat the downward kick. as soon as it hits the ground or gets to u do the homerun (same as slam attack (joystick right/left +A)) and they should go flying. if you want to improve that score, try pushing the punching bag a bit when you run towards him each time that you do which should only be twice. a couple of cm makes a couple of feet difference at the end.
Beat 100-man Melee or play 300 VS matches. He will challenge you or the winner of the 300th VS match. Defeat him and he will become playable.
