you can get easily provinces without war

for that you must built a gheisa house
(Required: Citadel, Infamous Ninja House, Famous Tea House
Cost: 1000 Koku Building Time: 8 seasons)

then get a gheisa and get allied with a other clan. seek their daimyo en kill him with your geisha. tadaa! more provinces but if it has heirs kill them all.
