Begin by starting a project in the workshop. Next click the start project button again and it will give you a full refund click the same project, click OK, and repeat. You can do this as many times as you want and every time you do it you will get money equal to the price of the project started instead of charging you for a new one.
P.S. adding multiple items in the same workshop will not get you more money.
