Madden NFL 2004 Cheats & Tips

At the end of the season, players have retired (if people did retire or get injured) and there is no one good in free agency, go to Create A Player and select the position you need and make his overall 12 then sign him. Go back into Create A Player and then edit his stats to whatever you want and you'll have a better team!

If you are having trouble with some of the mini camps then you just have to edit the players stats. Look at the guy you are doing the drill with and the guys you are doing it against. Then write down there stats. Now make the guy you use really good and the guys your against really bad. You may have to take the stats for the backups down too because i think they will use them if they end up better then the guys you just edited. After you are done just replace the players stats back to normal.

This way is very easy and it will never really backfire on you. You have your defensive line. Take a guy from one side. I usually take the Right End and move him over outside of the Left End. It works either way if you wanna move the Left End. Anyway now if there is no Tight End you can just get right in there and disrupt or sack the QB. Even if there is a Tight End on that side he is way easier to plow over than the lineman that you line up against at the start. The only way this will backfire is if they run the ball to the side that you just left open. Then there is one less guy to make a tackle and the CPU can get more yards or even a touchdown but if you have good DB's and LB's you should be fine.

if you want a great pass play for terrel owens, go to i-form 3 wide and choose pump and go. this play almost ALWAYS racks up like 50 yards (if you remember to pump the ball when you are supposed to)

When you see your opponent in tackling position{right before he tackles you or when he's 2feet away},press L1+R1 at the same time twice and you should break the tackle.Try doing it in practice first to get it down packed.

First go to the game file and find all the players info. Delete the file containing Dennis Northcut which will give his overall points to his closest ancestor Ray Lewis.

Everybody wants the best players on their team and the top draft picks. Here's how you can do it:
To have the best players:
-Create a player (name him somebody you don't like I did and its fun to take my anger out on him)
-make him young (18 yrs old)
-make his overall a 12 (lower his stamina, injury and toughness so he has a bigger chance of being out for the season or his career)
-sign him for 7 yrs and no bonus
-after signing, go back to create a player and make him a 99 overall
-now once you maxed him out, go to the team that has the player you want and get him (trade a bad player with no bonus that way you won't go over the roster limit or get a cap penalty)
-once you trade for your player(s), go back to create a player and take his overall back to a 12

For the first draft pick:
-Do the same thing for getting you the player that you want on your team
-look at the standings to see who is in last place (that way you can see who is getting the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd pick in the draft)
-when you trade get the worst teams 2nd and 3rd pick if you can.(trade your 5th 6th and 7th if need)
******and remember to always lower the create a player's attributes so you won't have to play him in the future and get killed by him******

have 12 tokens with 2 madden cards.then play the seahawks on all-madden.let them score 6 points and you score 100 points.but you must play your 2 cards in the first quarter before the kick off.then after the game you will have all of the madden cards. even those from the other maddens.

In franchise mode when playing home game if you save your game in a middle of a game and then quit and exit completly out of franchsie mode and go back in to franchise mode continue game finish your game and go into income you shall have twice the amount you normally would have. You can save several times a game to triple or quadruple and so on.

when a song comes on that you dont like simply hold square and press L1 to go back to a tune or R1 to go to the next tune

Then go to the free agency.Then sign him,after that go to create a player and edit him,make him an overall of anything you want!But if he has an overall of 99 or something high,he will want only $260,000!
2:Sign players for 7 years!
