My tip to winning this game is a simple one. On the lower lelvls of difficulty just run round the defence but once you change the difficulty lvl to 3 stars or more there is a simple way to win. Pass the ball almost as soon as you get it and this will not allow the opposition to get a tackle in. then once u have got near the goal you may have a simple tap in

If you only have one match left in the season and none of your players have the highest rating, then choose a player that you have not used for that season so far, then make sure you get a minimum of 1 assist by him and a goal to guarante the highest rating. Usually he will get 8.0 and above. So it will be a good idea to play a 10 min match or longer!

When the opponent has the ball, if you hold down 'x' and 'r1' your player will automatically run after ball. If you then hold 'x''r1'and 'square' a second player will start trailing the ball aswell as the first.

It takes some mastering but used effectively your defensive play will be great and it also helps with intercepting.

When you find yourself in that situation with one defender left, doesn't it seem that when there is the most pressure? Instead of running straight at the defender and performing a move, or just trying to outpace him, run to the side of the defender and just before he reaches your side triple tap R2 or Black (xbox) and you will perform a double step over which completely wrong-foots the challenging opponent.

This is tricky and takes practise as the timing is very difficult, but pull it off, and you'll be amazed.

p.s, it can be done up the wing or any other occasion.... experiment!

Ronaldinho is so good they even made a new trick for him! if you tap R2 three times he will perform it.

On cup mode select one of the leagues and and put only 2 teams in. That means you only have to play 2 games and if you win one of them and draw one you get alot PES points for winning the league. Easy.
