when you go to this place with cable cars above cause a traffic jam by getting somone out of a car hopefuly there is a car under a cable car if so shoot the cable car a couple of times it will set afire and fall on that poor little car

Clean Precincts easy and fast

Get in any vehicle that isn't a motorcycle and purposely get into an accident, get out of the car and the person you hit will get out too. They will start talking some mad shit and probably start flipping you the decisive bird digit. Wait until a yellow bar shows up over their head, and then either fight them, hit them with a stun gun, beanbag shotgun, or tranquilizer, or hit them with a neutralizing shot out of a regular gun. You shouldn't get bad cop points this way. Then just walk over to them and arrest them.

Defeating hand to hand combatants

A good way to defeat some enemies is to grab them, attack with either X or Square button, then kick them until they get up. This is done when not in stealth, but when in hand to hand combat.

Use the 50 Auto gun dually and I can assure you will win in all missions really fast, the reason is that this gun have a powerful shot that can detach targets' limbs of their torso! Two shots is enough to bring down a typical thug!

Grand Theft Auto reference

When you get the option to start driving taxi missions, Marcus comments that he cannot believe it and says "Next thing, I'll be flying remote control toys and shit." This is obviously a reference to all the RC car/plane/helicopter levels in the Grand Theft Auto series of games.

How To get More Stores To Open

If the crime rate is high in a neighborhood, more stores are most likely to close down or close early. Try cleaning up the neighborhood so it has atleast a low (clean would be perfect) crime rate.

Also, stores usually close own at night and open in the early morning.

Marcus becomes god-like

This make you run through walls, not affected by gunshots but on the otherhand this won't allow you to hit enemies with your hand or melee weapon although you can shoot them.
To do this you must hit a guy with a stun gun once and then do a radial attack wait for a few seconds get in a car(if your timing is right he'll zap you just before you sit down, the camera view will get stuck at the car and you won't be able to move so press the jump button and marcus will look like he's flying and then suddenly drop.) When your up and running again try diving into a wall. You will know if you've done it right because marcus will go inside a hollow building. another way to check is to shoot down cops, if you're not affected by their bullets congrats you've done it.

This glitch will reset when you enter a vehicle or a building.

Recommended vehicles

The best vehicle to use at Detective Rank 2 is the 5.4L SC V8 coupe; and at Detective Rank 4 the 6.0L V8 coupe. If you use the 6.0L coupe, make sure to take it to a garage and get a street upgrade. Also, if you find one of the bullion vans driving around, hijack it. These will push any car out of the way, and in one hit you can sometimes put a car on black smoke. If you are stuck on the last driving arena mission (one lap around Central Park), just keep hitting her car in this truck to get her stuck for an easy win. The only problem with this vehicle is cornering. Use this vehicle like a rhino.

Unrealistic Situation!

In the chase missions where you stand in the limo and shoot rivals, the limo will do a lot of drifts, but Marcus doesn't react or do any move or change his position. He is just standing still like a wall, with no reaction!

Whenever Marcus duck, his torso will detach from his legs, where is his ass?

When you wear the "Cowboy" outfit, press select while on foot, Marcus will show his badge and take it from his naked chest???

To gain more credit follow this guide:

1) Get a vehicle, not a motorcycle

2) Hit the another vehicle in the trunk

3) When the other person gets out of the vehicle, you must get out of the vehicle

4) Go to the other vehicles trunk and open it and close it till a yellow bar appears over the other driver

5) Change your style of fighting to combat

6) Attack the driver till the yellow bar disappears.

7) Arrest the driver

8) And you've got career points and positive cop points.

Debug (and access to many game settings and cheats)

Press Start and go to the Map. Press and hold L1+R1 and then release them and quickly press right on the D-Pad and then hold L1+R1 again. (Note: the last 3 steps must be done fast, under 2 seconds). You should now see the Music player with the Map in the background, then release L1+R1 and press left. You should now see a list with menu's and features, one of those is the cheat menu. There, you can enable/disable some cheats. If you want to exit the Debug menu, press Start.

PS: If you select too many menus and features, your game may freeze.

Play tip/Hint: Easy Arrests

Go to any gun shop (Crazy Willies Gun Shop) in the city during the day (because there closed at night) and when you go in there is usually someone looking at items on the wall of the shop or on the counter. Go up to them and press the circle button to frisk them and you should find that they have illegal items on them, press the circle button again to arrest them, which gets you good cop points. The best thing is when you go out the shop and go back in there is someone there again and you can frisk them and arrest them just like before and just keep going back in and back out of the shop and keep arresting people. Sometimes they offer you a bribe which you can accept, if you want to be a bad cop!
