To unlock the snowkids snowboarding mini-game you need to get 10 Specter Emblems.

To unlock the specter boxing mini-game you need to get 20 Specter Emblems.

To unlock the Jake attacks mini-game you need to get 30 Specter Emblems.

To unlock the ape ping-pong mini-game you need to get 40 Specter Emblems.

During a fall that will ultimately cost you your life press the Start button, then the square button and then select Yes. You will now have prevented yourself from losing a life. However be warned, this will only work on large falls as you need time to bash in your button combo.
