Mortal Kombat 4 Cheats & Tips

You need 2 controllers to get this cheat working.

Start Arcade mode.

Choose Raiden.

Beat all stages except Shinnok.

When you're about to face Shinnok press start on controller 2.

Choose any character.

Have him/her beat Raiden.

When you're about to face Shnnok again press start on controller 1.

Choose whatever character you want to beat the game with.

Beat player 2.

Shinnok isn't hard to beat. Beat him and you have completed the game. Repeat this for all characters.

for each character if you press the triangle and start buttom or another buttom with the start. you can get the 2nd costume if you flip it once for the costume you get in 2 player mode if your both using the same charcater. flip it twice to get a newer costume like johnny cage in a suit or jax with a shirt. This does not work for tanya and soyna blade.

At the character-select screen, highlight any character listed below and input the following button presses:

Jax: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press L1, X, and R1 twice.
Johnny Cage: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press L1, X, and circle three times.
Kai: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press square, R1, and circle three times.
Liu Kang: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press triangle, R1, and circle three times.
Raiden: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press X, R1, and triangle two times.
Reptile: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press X, R1, and circle two times.
Scorpion: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press square, triangle, and R1 two times.
Sonya: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press X, square, and L1 two times.
Sub-Zero: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press L1, R1, and square two times.
Tanya: Press and hold start, then simultaneously press triangle, circle, and square two times.

Select the invisible icon at the bottom of the character selection screen. Press Up(3), Left to highlight Shinnok's icon, then press Run + Block. Before doing the Code, you MUST beat the game with Shinnok.

Enter ''Kombat Theatre'' mode, highlight the desired character, and press Block.
