To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.

From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou's will be in easy mode.

If there's a part in a song which has a ton of notes really close together, try strumming up and down, instead of just up or just down. Trust me, you'll hit a lot more notes this way.

If you have the song "Impulse" in your bonus songs (you can buy it in the shop), go to Practice, choose "Impulse", and only practice on the section called "Most Cheesiest Interlude". Since there are is no lead guitar in that section, no notes will come up at all during the whole section.

Here is a good tip on how to get to the orange button:

Have your first finger on Red, and then so on and so forth, and when Green comes by, bring the first finger over from Red to Green.

This song took me a few weeks to master but I finally got it down. The part I was stuck on was Galloping Triplets (this is the name in practice mode). So what I did was I did this part on Slowest about 20 times until I got the hang of it. Then 15 times on Slower. After that 10 times on Slow. Finally 5 times on Full Speed. Good Luck to you guys out there.

If you're opponent uses Amp Overload on you, you can just look over at his fretboard and see what the notes are.

NOTE: This only works when playing onlinle.
