The Darkness Cheats & Tips

Ok throughout the game i found i few helpfulthings like the right combinations of darklings for the paulie and strote missions.
i found that if you use the lightkiller and the gunner is a great tactic as * spoiler* on the lighthouse mission the lightkiller kills the lights as the gunner lays down covering fire. This helps you build up your darkness and therefore easier to use the blackhole ability.

I also found out that the creeper ability saves your life on many occasions as it can stealth kill and when your in this form Jackie does not take any damage.

You can throw impaled enemies ( the demon arm move) at other enemies - doesn't really hurt them but if done correctly throws them back a little

And a little problem i had was with vinnies last hit the one on gun hill - he is found by going up to the door with the elevator in it but stay outside and look at the wood pallets on the floor with that turn into the creeper and go up the wall on the right and once roughly half way up you should have seen a window just go in kill the dude and then grab the darkling outfit.

Broken Sword: You can find this in Chinatown after you get out of the subway. Just keep heading straight and you can see it to the left in a small alley

Sledgehammer: You can get this after getting to the last guy on Vinny's List, by Edward Shrote's apartment. You should see a window. That room is where you will find the outfit

Fireman: Go to Grinders Lane and to the apartment where you killed Petey Pajama, which is in room 261

Handsaw: Help the lady in the subway who is by the bench and snack machines. (right by where thr train comes through the tunnel)
After accepting her sidemission, go to the apartment you need to go to and inside the apartment is the fireman outfit handing in a glass case on the wall

Jungle: This is one of the more tricker outfits to nab. After going through the pool lounge area in chapter one and go into an alley, you will see a bum by a fire barell. His name is Matt something. Anyways. Head up a little bit and there you should see a door on your left with a vent above it. Shoot the vent and send one of your Creeping Dark's through it. Go down into the room below and take a right, break the glass and collect it.

Extra Outfits:

2K Games: This outfit was accessed from pre-order of the game at a Gamestop retailer, but it's easy enough to get it without having pre-ordered. Simply access an in-game phone and dial 4263

Golf Club: Dial 5664

In chapter 3, there's a part where you help Butcher, Jimmy the Grape, and Aunt Sarah hold off a whole block of Paulie's boys. If you go to the back room, you'll find a guy on a bed (he's missing an arm and his legs) that ALWAYS gives you ammo. You can come back to him as many times as you are in the house, and pick up the pistols. And every while, the machinegun will re-spawn somewhere in the room. Sure it takes him a long time to give you each gun, but as long as you're in the house, it's worth it..

To unlock a secret Darkling go to any pay phone in the subway and dial 555-4263 (555-GAME). You will hear a message to confirm correct code entry.
