| Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon review | source: The Entertainment Depot | |
Article Quote: "It’s hard to deny Devil Summoner 2’s charms. While I would have liked for the detective work to feel more like a true investigation, it’s also a great vehicle to have someone run around Japan and encounter clans, demons, and eccentric townsfolk. Some of the portions would have benefited from being reined in a bit and the pace more balanced, but most players will still have a great time. | Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon Review | source: Game Revolution | |
Article Quote: "Also, the environments, albeit beautiful, have their moments of being truly frustrating. While exploring the Capitol and all of its individual regions, you not only have to pay to go to certain areas, but to reach some spaces within a given area, you have to go through screen after screen and spot after spot of exploration. It's just becomes tedious, especially since there aren't too many save points scattered around. You could find yourself running through each area for an hour or more, then have to find your way back – after not fighting anything or gaining any items – to a point when you have to give up your fruitless quest or save (just to add hours to your “official” play time)." | | Product Category: Fantasy Role-playing (PS2) | more info: ·more reviews |

| Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon Review | source: TotalPlaystation | |
Article Quote: Despite any frustration the game might offer, and even with portions of it being copied and pasted from the previous game into this one, the world and story that Atlus has made here is so damned interesting that it never really seems to matter. These are some great characters, presented in a unique style and setting that most games -- even JRPGs -- can't really match. I keep thinking I've played the last big PS2 RPG, and Atlus keeps going, "ah ah, we've got oneeeeee more." Still with the landscape of seriously awesome PS2 titles looking more and more barren, this really might be the last great PS2 RPG. | | Product Category: Fantasy Role-playing (PS2) | more info: ·more reviews |

Article Quote: "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is easily one of the best strategy-RPGs on the Nintendo DS and may even be one of the better strategy RPGs ever made. It does almost everything right. " | | Product Category: Turn-based | more info: ·more reviews |
