How to beat the gun store guy and the convicts:
#1 I found 2 very easy ways to beat cletus. you can either take a small chainsaw(that you get from the clown Adam) or you can run through the mall alittle bit till you find the sword and katana store. the chainsaw will beat him quick enough so he'll hardly has a chance to shoot at you, and the sword has some drag after you use the second hit so he'll shoot over you.

#2 the convicts:
The convicts are pretty easy to kill if do either one these. you can either snipe them after beating cletus or you can get a van from the tunnels near the parking lot and ram them. either way its simple and doesnt take much time to do.

if you get a bunch of CD's from a CD store you can instantly kill zombies hitting them in the head with the manual aim.

works well on the raincoat people too, but its not instant kill.

when u beat paul the arsonist it is possible 2 put him out but take a photo first get the fire egstingwisher {pls correct my spelling} stand back and fire away so the weaker bit of the foam touces the flame do so until fire goes out and get him 2 join

the hardest Physcopath on the game (supposedly) is actually easy to kill if you climb on top of the shelves in the store and shoot him or keep jumping behind the counter and shooting him with a submachine gun

<font size=4>T</font>he <font size=4>C</font>onvicts

A very simple boss, possibly the easiest boss in the entire game. To beat the Convicts without a problem (you may have to heal once), then do exactly what I tell you. If you've utilized my other cheat (about getting a hold of a Shotgun early in the game), then you may proceed. If you haven't got the aforementioned shotgun, try using an SMG and do the same steps I said for the Shotgun, although I'm sure it will be much more difficult.

Okay, now that you have the Shotgun and the first night has arrived, it's time to serve a dish of justice. Head out to the Leisure Park and you'll receive a quick cutscene in which I'm sure you've already seen, introducing Frank to three insane convicts joy-riding in a military-style jeep.
Once it's finished, make your way towards the convicts. If you have a handgun when you get near enough to the crazy bastards, fire at them once with it to attract their attention. Now that they're chasing you, maneuver Frank around to a place with a few trees. You should have no problem dodging the gatling shots if you run in wide, zig zagging patterns. Once you arrive in the tree area, run around a tree for a moment and continue heading in the direction you were previously, causing the convicts to ram their car into the tree repeatedly. If it is a thin tree, position Frank so that he is hidden behind the tree but his shotgun is beside the tree. Now, try to take out the gunner. If you can't hit him, take out the driver and the side-seat passenger. If you can't hit any of them, position Frank directly beside the jeep. Wait until the gunner stops shooting (there's about a 3-4 second delay between his shots), then run up to him and shoot him 3-5 times with the shotgun. He should die in the seat. Dismount the gatling from its stand and walk up beside the driver. Open fire, and you should kill both the driver and the passenger in seconds. Then hop in the jeep and get your achievement. Now, jump out of the jeep and grab the minigun and we'll move on to...

<font size=4>C</font>letus, the <font size=4>G</font>un-shop <font size=4>O</font>wner

The fat bastard of the hour, and the only obstacle between you and a shitload of guns. Okay, now that you have a hold of the convicts' gatling gun, make you're way toward the Huntin' Shack. When you arrive, you are greeted with a short, gruesome cutscene. Immediately upon regaining control of Frank, bolt it out of the store (leave the door open). Shoot all the zombies outside with the remnants of your shotgun ammo (this requires you to drop your minigun for a moment. Don't worry, you'll be reunited in no time). Once the zombies are dead, reacquaint yourself with the minigun and stand by the open door, with just a tiny bit of Frank exposed in the open doorway. Cletus will fire at you like a madman and consequently miss every time, prompting him to reload. Now, run around the door, into the room, and open fire on Cletus while he reloads. He should die within seconds, long before he can finish reloading or grabbing a bottle of wine. Now, laugh maniacally and victoriously as you're treated to a cutscene of slight satisfaction as you watch the fat bastard get mauled mercilessly by a zombie. When you regain control of Frank, feel free to sample the fruits of your labor, and take a quick picture of Cletus' dead body.

Now, happy huntin' with the spoils from your new, psychopath free Huntin' Shack.

For an easy way to kill the convicts get a car from the parking lot not the bike and ram the convicts vehicle where the convicts are sat and at the back for the gunner to kill them

Throw the trash cans you see around the mall at the wall 2 times for it to break and a base ball bat or hand gun will fall out.

When fighting brock on top of the tank use the double lariat to kill him as he cannot block the double lariat

When you're waiting for the chopper, there's a way of blagging yourself some handy PP - just get to the roof and blow away all the federal agents below - they can't get you baack and each is worth 5000 PP. You can also keep going back down, nicking their guns and going back up to kill a lot more.

to get some easy pp simply get the two horror novels from bachmans bookporium in paradise plaza and the sinister read in entrance plaza with these two books get a car from the car park and run over zombies in the maintenace tunnels easy pp and a good way to get zombie genocider

IMPORTANT! MAKE SURE YOU SAVE BEFORE YOU RUN OUT OF TIME.

This is ment only as a way of getting loads of pp in one go, if you want to carry on with the story after doing this then you MUST save, exit and restart the whole overtime mode, if you restart from your save file you will find out that you won't have much time to continue with the story, i found that out the hard way.

this is a great and easy way of getting a minimum of 40,000 PP each time (the most i ever got was 50,000) and the beauty of it is, YOU CAN DO IT AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT!!!

step 1:
Go into Overtime mode, as soon as you're able to, exit Carlito's hideout and head to the gun shop (you shouldn't have much trouble getting there). Pick up as many shot guns as you want (1-3) and head back out.

step 2:
Find a Special Forces guy and kill him for his gun. Kill all the special forces guys you find (including the helicopter things), on the way to Seon's supermarket.

step 3:
Head into the shop, DON'T KILL ANYONE YET! There should be at least 8 special forces guys (the most i ever got was 10) in here. Run up between vegetables and fruit, head along dairy for the staff only door between "Meats" and "Seafood". Dodge the last two guys at the end and head in, closing the door behind you, make sure you close the door or this won't work.

here's the good bit.

step 4:
Head into the Pharmacy and look through the window at the double doors you came through, you will see a nice little crowd of Special forces guys waiting for you, this is why you shut the door behind you because they can't open it, hehehe, FIRE!!!!! (You might not kill them all but you can pick off the stragglers on your way out).

step 5:
Grab your mop and bucket and clean up the rest if there are any. Re-stock on machine-guns and heal if necessary then head out.

Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 as many times as you want, ENJOY:)

IMPORTANT! MAKE SURE YOU SAVE BEFORE YOU RUN OUT OF TIME.

Ending A: Solve all cases and return to the heliport at 12 am on the 22nd day of September.

Ending B: Solve all cases and rescue a certain number of survivors (unknown number) <OR> Sit on the helipad for 72 hours as soon as you arrive at the mall. (Tested)

Ending C: Solve all cases, but don't get to the helipad on time.

Ending D: Be a prisoner of the special forces at 12 am on the 22nd of September.

Ending E: Don't solve any cases, and don't be at the helipad on the 22nd of September.

Ending F: Fail to collect all of Carlito's bombs during case 7-2.

Two of the special drinks have already been mentioned in this section: Zombait and Untouchable.

But did you know that drinking both is the perfect way to get survivors back to the security room?

Create both concoctions and keep them in your inventory. I wouldn't recommend drinking them until you absolutely need it, since they wear out fast. For example, if you see that one of your survivors are being bombarded by a horde of zombies, chug both (Zombait first, so that when Untouchable wears out, you won't be attacked by zombies without any defense).

This mix is especially useful if you want to rescue all of the survivors from the Cult boss mission at the Movie theater. Paradise Plaza is PACKED with zombies at this point in the game, and getting all of the people back to base is MUCH harder than it seems.

Don't waste time getting into a fight with zombies after you've drank both concoctions. They'll swarm you, but they won't touch you (hence, "untouchable.")!

to get more health from food and drink pick up these 3 books
health 1 and 2 from the sinister read in entrance plaza and sir book a-lot in wonderland plaza and survival from the empty store next to crislips home saloon in north plaza you need to defeat cliff for that one with these three books well done steak and orange juice heal full health

Right at the beginning of the game during 72 Hour mode, a stupid old woman breaks the barricade keeping all the flesh-eating, decomposing creatures of the night at bay, allowing them to storm into the formerly safe haven of Willamete Mall. If you scanned the survivors prior to the barricade's destrucion, you'd notice one of them is holding a shotgun.

When the Zombies are in the mall and gradually making their way towards you, get a hold of some weapons by trashing the trash cans nearby where you start off. Normally you should receive a mother-load of Baseball Bats. Now, fight your way through the Zombie masses towards the right side of the room. Run toward the entrance, and near the right starewell (when you're looking at the destroyed barricade), and just short of the water, you should see a group of Zombies amassed around a spot, and some on their knees doing something, although what that is I'm sure you can guess. Fight your way to the core of the crowd and you should find the corpse of a survivor (if you can actually see through the army of zombies), and beside the fallen man is his shotgun. Pick it up and fight you're way to the left starewell afterward to finish the scene.

Note: You can also scavenge the other dead survivors' weapons if you locate their bodies, but the only worthwhile weapon at this part, in my opinion, is the shotgun.

You need uncooked pizza and/or raw meet for this. When you have 1 or both of them,find an oven pop them in,and viola. You made Golden Brown Pizza/Well Done Meat.

HEALTH REGEN.
Golden Brown Pizza: 4 squares.

Well Done Meat: 6 squares.

Note: They will start to lose their potence (especially the meat, it will turn into spoiled meat),so eat before that happens. Also, use the health boost books to increase health regeneration.

In the Paradise Plaza there is a hidden Katana on the second story. Go up to the dinning area, (where the Pies & Orange Juice are) and jump out of the window closest to the counter. You will land on a platform with the Katana on it.

How To be Cletus: The man with the guns
We all know that if you beat Cletus you get the guns which is the best thing you can possibly do in this game. Without the guns you can possibly forget about beating Carlito 2 or even any other Psychopath, not counting Steven if you know how to keep him from using his shotgun(To me he is the easiest boss you can ever beat.
You start off by having a scene with Cletus and a survivor, who's fate is sealed when Cletus shoots him and the man flies back out of the store. When you regain control of Frank hide behind one of the store displays, which don't really help a lot unless you know how to hide. When Cletus uses his shots he winds up reloading... This is your time to take advantage of it, Not by shooting Cletus with a handgun, but by grabbing the display case and walking over the counter and dropping the display case so that Cletus cannot get to you... Over the counter there are several wine bottles(Which restore your life entirely). At this time if you need to heal, drink a bottle of wine. Now that Cletus is only spending his time shooting the display case or trying to run and move the display case out of the way. You can either grab a shotgun from the shelf or grab a sniper rifle. You will be able to see his head most of the time, so aim for it which is better than aiming at the hand or leg. Sooner or later he will go down, if he manages to move the display case out of the way(Which has never happened to me) he will grab you and throw you across the room. You can either do the display case trick again or even shoot him from hiding behind another display case. (Though I should suggest to do my trick again, considering that the display cases only block a medium of his shots.
***Spoiler***
When you beat Cletus he will drastically run out of the store in disbelief that he has been beaten, when he walks out he will suddenly get attacked by one zombie, then multiple zombies join in on his fallen body...

Ok, when you get the mission \"out of control\" head to paradise plaza, but before you go the the control pad, near the book shop are 4 zombie police holding handguns so kill them and collect their guns. Next head to the ride and start the mission. at the start he will start on the other side of the ride so this gives you a chance to run backwards, and when he comes over just keep dodging his attacks until he blows a balloon so go to manual aim and shoot him so he drops the balloon then shoot it so it pops and he starts to choke and shoot about 5 rounds into him while he chokes and repeat this until he is dead. When you have killed him he will drop a mini-chainsaw so pick that up and stop the ride. when you have done this another mini-chainsaw will appear so pick that up as well then follow the black man who has come off the ride and he will show you a short-cut from paradise plaza to entrance plaza using the toilets.

here are 2 ways of killing her.

methods:

1. you can get a chainsaw from the shop outside, and what for the cut-screen and then slice her up.

2. get a sub machine gun and a pistol and a baseball bat, and what for the cut-sreen and then when its over get her to chase you and then run outside of the shop, when u leave the shop she will stop following you but she will still have a go at you by shooting u, avoid that run out of the store and select the baseball ball bat and smash the zombies outside and the equip the sub, and run to the left entrance of the store don't run inside aim your gun in, and fire! repeat that until she dies.

first wait until around 7:00 pm and go out to the park. Kill the convicts( guys in the jeep) and take their machine gun. This is the hard part. navigate your way to his gun shop wioth the gun and enter. after the cutscene, run out of the shop. You might get shot a few times. close the door and eliminate close zombies. run up to the door and aim at cletus. the gun should clip through the door. fire away.

This gets you a lot of zombie kills. I'm not sure if getting a certain amount is an achievement or something. But you go down below where you get the maintanence key and go to the parking lot and grab the car and take it down. The best way to go I fugured out is when you go down from the parking lot you turn right and then go all the way down and then come back. It a matter of 15 minutes I went from 400 to 5,000. It is a quick way of getting PP. Every 50 zombies killed you get 500 pp(I think). Every 1,000 killed you get some big number in the thousands(Not sure).

When you see a special forces soldier, if you have the chance, all you have to do is run up to them and do either:

Suplex, Neck Twist, Face Crusher, Disembowel, or the Lift Up

this will cause a 1-hit kill for the cost of 30-40 machine gun bullets per soldier. Be prepared to heal yourself if they happen to get in an early shot before you do the move.

Do these things ingame to earn more pp
Realign the servo-bot head in toy shop in paradise plaza
Destroy the punchbags in the al fresca gym
walk on the tread mills in the same gym
spin all four clothes racks in entrance plaza sports shops (two upstairs two down stairs)
Destroy plates on the wall in food court
you get a bonus for doing all the punchbags and treadmills of 10000pp

to get a quick queen mix two orange juices in a blender to create a nectar drink. Drink the nectar to make a queen appear next to you

to make quickstep which makes you go faster put a coffee creamer and a bottle of orange juice in a blender and you get a bottle of quickstep

after killing adam the clown, take his chainsaw and go to the book shop in wonderland. find the book that make the purple thing come up on the chainsaw (making it last longer). you will then need to go to paradise plaza. Once there go to the big book shop and find the two other books which add purple things to the small chainsaw. Thats right, the small chainsaw exists under 3 catergories. Its now 27 time stronger and will last for 500-1000 kills easily. Its also REALLY easy to kills any boss!

In the food court you will see some plates on the wall,shoot them and you get 1,000 pp for every one, shoot them all and you get 10,000 pp bonus.

take the spaceride to the first big lego house (just jump into one of the seats) and jump off and u'll find another sub machine gun

There are two hidden sub machines guns - one in Paradise Plaza and the other in Alfresca Plaza.

To get the one in Paradise Plaza - as you come out of the storeroom turn right and run halfway up the zombie infested stairway, turn back on yourself and jump at the blue overhanging ledge which runs across the top of the shops. When you get up there stick close to the wall and walk to the far end (half way there is some stuffed toys and orange juice). At the very end of the overhang there is a sub machine gun.

To get the one in Alfresca Plaza - just jump in the fountain and you'll find a sub-machine gun submerged in the water.

Go to the car park near the leisure park and steal the red sports car, Drive into the maintenance tunnel and take a left then take your next left and steal tyhe truck with its back facing the wall.
Drive this out of the tunnel to the convicts and ram them at a good speed and then they will die.

When I done it all of them died apart from the driver but he couldn't drive away cos' the truck destroyed their Jeep

After unlocking the achivements listed here, you will unlock these various items. Go behind the air duct in the security room, and look in the shopping bags.

to make this useful drink which stops zombies grabbing you, simply put two pies in a blender and instant untouchable this is useful in al fresca plaza where there are just too many zombies

if you like the convicts car but broke it dont worry because if you wait for about an hour or so(in real time) the convicts will come back and you can kill them and take the car again.

Rinse and repeat.

go to gun shop and get a 2 shot guns (1 if your a good shot) and 1 snipper rifle go to the cort yard find the convicts and from a safe distence away from them and the undead every where snip the one in the back then get your shot gun and kill the 2 in the front this mite take a bite or 5 seconds depends on how good you but anyways after that get in the convicts jeep for a sec this will unlock that achevment then drive to the foodcort entrence get out and grab that big a$$ machine gun on the back and go inside and be carefull if you role or get hit youll drop it and that will suck go to the space ride thing and fix it or so you think then you have to fight Adam the clown you probile all ready know this when the fight start pick up your gun becase fixing the ride makes you drop it then gets to the steps and when he comes down the stares aim at him and FIRE

to get zombait which is useful when escorting survivors(it makes the zombies go for you not them) simply put a coffee creamer and a pie in a blender and you have a bottle of zombait

To get the achievement zombie genocide a very easy way is to wait until approximitelly 7:00 pm on the helipad on the first day and go to the car park across the park. be carefull as the convicts are there. once at the car park get the red car and drive into the tunnels and take a left. kill as many zombies as possible and then drive to the delivery van and get into it. and drive around killing zombies. when it looks as if it will blow up go to the red car and repeat.

Want some easy kills? Head over to the Garden store (Al Fresco's) and grab yourself a chainsaw. Wait outside the shop and destroy anything that comes near you. If you get surrounded, you can spin round killing everything around you.

if you ever wondered when the lights go off if you can get more light, well you can what you do is get a toy laser sword from the toy shop in paradise plaza and you will have a bit more red light so you can see more zombies etc also you dont have to keep equipped just keep it in your inventory

To get the achievement, hella copter, you must take down the Special Forces helicopter in Leigure park. Best weapons are a machine gun or the real mega buster.

in dead rising if you kill 53,594 zombies than you get 20g and when you start up a new gam e you get a real proton shooting mega man cannon the easy way to do so is to not start any missions then go to the main lobby with jill's sandwiches and the guiter shop and such , DO NOT UNDER ANY EVENT DO NOT LEVE THIS LOBBY LESS IT IS TO SAVE AND GET OFF YOUR XBOX OR REHRESH THE AREA,fight zombies here, with the guiter shop you have wepons, there is a katana smg and other wepons in trash cans and such as for health there is the food court upstairsand jill's downstars, if you runour of food the enter then exit the movie theater and the area and the zombie count with reset, as for wepons don't go and refresh the area for wepons the guiter shop has plenty there are trahsh cons and the skateboards upstairs are unlimeted so that takes care of that keep your heath up and don't go out side and this achivement will be easy long but worth the wait

this cheat will allow you to play 72hr mode without having to do any main story missions. you still have all the side missions, survivors, and pshycopaths, and you can do all the acheivements. this makes genocide a lot easier. what you do is when you enter the plaza after the lady gets killed and u have the old man cutscene instead of just running up the stairs, stay and kill 600 or more zombies. after you kill 600 zombies go up the stairs and into the security room. after that go to the rooftop. do not rescue the ppl. i havent seen if it works if u do that. go to the door to the warehouse. DONT USE THE ELEVATOR. then u will c the bee cutscene once u enter. this skips the first mission to help brad. and since it skips over it u never get any other missions. jessie will sit by the monitors all game there is no brad. now u can go rescue survivors, kill pchycos, do acheivements. u have the whole 3days to do whatever u want then. no main story. and u automatically finish with the B ending so dont worry about that just finish the time and u still get an ending. this mode is so awesome. try it

This is less of a cheat and more of a well known fact ...you canget more than 50000 PP everytime you do this...Step1:Start a new game and go through the first part until your in the security room Step2:Go outside and get the old ugly chick on the rooftop...and then walk her to her husband on the otherside of the roof step3:take a picture of them hugging then simply walk them right back into the security room which is like 5 feet away...Step4:save your game...step5:repeat til at desired lvl...and if u do it right you will get at least 1 achievement...here are the ones i got in this process...Achievement1:befor the lady lets all the zombies in take a picture of 10 of the people in there...(you should also get another achievement for taking a picture of the people at the door at the right angle) and then achievement3:u score at least 10k PP of the photo of the ugly chick and her husband hugging so u get an achievement for that...

If you grab a Frying Pan and activate a Stove while the Frying Pan is equipped, Frank will put the Pan on the stove and it will start cooking. Wait until the center of the Frying Pan turns red then reactivate the Stove. Frank will take the Frying Pan off the burner and equip it automatically. Now, when you go up to a Zombie hold "X" and you will stick the Frying Pan to their face and it will be an auto kill. It also gives you either 10 or 100 PP from a kill. Note: You can still use the Frying Pan as if you never cooked it.

this is awesome if you mix PIE and ORANGE JUICE you will get invincibily or UNTOUCHABLE also if you mix COFFEE and an APPLE you will walk faster or QUICKSTEP there are other mixes but dont drink the black one it stalls you like evry feww seconds

When on infinity mode mode on Dead rising go and the health book 1 from The Sinister read, health book 2 from Sir books a lot and the survival book from the empty store next to Crislip's this will give you 200% boost from food

1 game day = 2 hours (this is probably the normal amount one should play DR in one session)

2 game days = 4 hours (OK either its a weekend or you are socially awkward)

For all unlockables, you need to earn an ending. If Frank dies, you fail to earn a required ending, or you choose to start a new game after meeting the requirements, you do not unlock the reward.

Ammo Belt (costume) ... Do not miss with a machinegun. If you miss, start with a new (150 round) machinegun.

Arthur's Boxers (costume) ... Survive for at least 7 days in Infinity Mode.

Hockey Mask (costume) ... Photograph all PP Stickers.

To unlock cop hat, You must achieve Saint.

You must utilize fire Extinguisher to save Paul, then bring him to the security room.

You must obtain the "true ending."

You must complete the first 72 hours of Frank's stay in the mall and then return to the helipad by noon on the 22nd

to unlock the white, You must achieve Census Taker.
