THE GOOD:
Quite a fast proccessor for a small upgrade from anything less.

THE BAD:
Will not work with thouroughbred motherboards.

SUMMARY:
This palomino chip will not work with thoroughbred motherboards. Your chip speed may automatically slow down and you will see this change when you turn your pc on.

THE GOOD:
The price
The performance

THE BAD:
Nothing really

SUMMARY:
I've had this processor for quite some time, and I haven't had any problems with it. My computer has yet to freeze as a result of the CPU(crashes are usually caused by my greed by trying to overclock my video card too much). The only thing that is really holding back the processor is my video card and my SDRAM. However, since the Athlon XPs are coming out, you might want to save your money and get one of those instead.

Bottom Line:
If you are looking for a bargain, buy one of these.

THE GOOD:
thumbs up on this product,And all of the AMD products.Again AMD has done the impossible.

SUMMARY:
I feel with this news XP1800+ you can every bit out of your systems if your smart enough to purchase this chip.
I was a big pentium buyer in the past, but as of the last two years AMD has leep way ahead in all aspect of chip makers and within the next 3rd quarter AMD will past another mile stone when they put out the 3ghz chips.
