THE GOOD: This card is "da bomb". It runs any game and never crashes. Even with WinME(which is a pile of an OS) it doesnt crash.THE BAD: Probably the slower FPS compared to other cards but still is awesome. SUMMARY: Like I said, when i tried running WINME, it never crashed until i played high density games like Nascar4. But when i switched back to Win98 SE, it runs like a charm. Packed with only a puny celeron 700, and 576 megs of RAM, this puppy runs like a 1.5GHz. Just wait till i pop an Asus 2.8 in there, plus an extra 256 RAM, itll be da sh*t! I first started out with a Voodoo 4 and returned it in 3 days cause it sucked. And they were out of business. And, the rest of the review speaks for itself. BUY IT...........NOW!

This is a decent 3D card for movie playback, and most games out there on the market.
If your going for high quality video editing, and trying to basically make a Star Wars Movie on your computer go with a Geforce as this card is basically a low end card for doing basic needs
I have it for playing high end games like Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault and occasionally it will run pretty slow but after awhile it will adjust.
I heard it isn't very good for video editing so young directors pass this up for a better card |

THE GOOD: Cheap, Great performance, awesome DVD playback, dual monitor support, O lockupsTHE BAD: Took me awhile to install and it need a power supply in excess of 200 watts SUMMARY: I bought this card when it just came out for 120(us). Now you can get it for about 80 bucks which is a huge value. I never ever have lockups and i get some really high FPS(average of about 80fps at 1024*768 16bit color) on p3 450 with 128mb of pc100 ram. This card is great for an aging comp. |

| It gives not only tremendous, D3d graphics, but even better when you switch to the OpenGL drives. I would expect as ATI always does, for them to release new drivers withing 6 months and expect the performance of this board to increase even more. |

THE GOOD: Great speed for the price.THE BAD: Lots of bugs and LOTS of lock-ups. SUMMARY: Maybe its a problem with my computer, but when playing a 3D game I have about a 50/50 chance of the computer locking up. Ive never had this problem before with other cards.
But when it does work, it works really good. Fast, good looking. It seems to run real choppy in 800x600 resolution (but runs fine in higher resolutions). |
