Roundups and Shootouts

DDR Memory Comparison - 8balls Hardware
"Especially impressive is the Crucial PC2100 memory, which performed really well, with no heatspreaders, to boot. Same goes to Crucial's PC2700 memory... Mushkin's PC3200 and Corsair's XMS3200 impresses greatly, and lives up to their names, in my opinion... Corsair's XMS3500 on the other hand, is a mixed bag of nuts."

Dual Channel PC3200 Shoot Out - AMD Zone
"I was disappointed in the difficulties associated with the Corsair memory... With lackluster over clocking and a middle price/performance ranking, my first encounter with GeIL was disappointing to say the least... With memory timings in the middle of the road, Mushkin was actually able to claim the speed prize of voltage limited ram... OCZ definitely has a very attractive product that nearly upsets the best while still being the least expensive. Budget over clockers, give OCZ a chance."

DDR400 Overclocking Roundup - ForumOC
"Corsair and OCZ memory dominated these tests and rightly so, keeping up with the market and releasing some of the best products that have ever come across my test systems. I would, however, have to give the award to OCZ PC3200 Rev2 because it showed the best performance for its price."

PC3200 DDR Memory Shootout - OCAddiction
"First Place goes to the GeIL, a very close Second Place goes to the Corsair, and a disappointing Third Place goes to the Xtreme DDR. I really expected alot more from them."

PC3200 RAM Comparison - PC-Extreme.co.uk
"...The CorsairXMS3200 came out on top overall. However it should be known that this RAM does not perform to this level out of the box. I needed to burn it in for 24hours using SiSoft Sandra Burn-in wizard. It's hard to say the XtremeDDR came out 2nd in this, because for the price it gives a very impressive performance, but if it were rated at CAS2 then I feel these two sticks would have been slightly more even."

"I'm happy to admit that Corsair have lived up to the hype. Not only is this the fastest memory I've ever laid my hand on (so far), it's also great looking and behaved impeccably throughout testing with no tantrums even when the pressure was turned up. Whether you're an avid overclocker, a connoisseur of fine hardware or a smart buyer looking to future advances in motherboard technology Corsair's XMS3200CAS2 has a whole lot to offer."
"...we are impressed with the Corsair XMS 3200. It lives up to its claim of operating at memory speeds of 400, and as we documented, even beyond that. While you will pay a hefty premium for this kind of performance, we cannot help but to give it our highest recommendation."

"A really nice piece of hardware for the perfectionist."

"...this module deserves an editor's choice award for firstly pushing the boundaries of available DDR memory. To the best of my knowledge, no other module offers a pre-guaranteed speed of DD-400 at CL2. Secondly, it overclocks like a champion, reaching hither-to unseen speeds. It's also backed up by a comprehensive warranty from Corsair, and is stylish to boot."
"...Corsair XMS 3200 is really a top-notch memory that I've ever experienced before. Although the memory is a bit pricey comparing to other brands, still the overclocking capability and the nice aluminium heat spreader gives an extra value for your hard earn dough!"
