"...if you like wonderful colour, a small footprint, a funky shape and little eye strain and have some extra cash - get one of these."

Samsung SyncMaster LCD Monitor Roundup - Got Apex?
"For those looking for an affordable LCD, the Syncmaster 570v is tough to pass up, although the 770TFT performs noticeably better for a few hundred dollars more. Finally, for those who are looking for a stylish display with TV tuning capability, the 170MP is a great choice if you can swallow the price. Overall, I was very impressed with all three displays and would highly recommend them."

"We ran the 570V through DisplayMate Technologies Video Obstacle Course, a demanding program for any monitor. Chances are this is the toughest display job any monitor will ever have to do. In all areas of the Obstacle Course the 570V performed flawlessly."

"The unit's easy-to-use onscreen menu system was a cinch. You can greatly improve the SyncMaster 570v's out-of-box settings by carefully adjusting the fine and course phase rates. The SyncMaster's auto-adjust button will fine-tune your settings in an instant, and you'll be hard-pressed to improve upon the picture with further tweaks."
"As far as picture quality goes LCD's beat CRT's hands down. The images are so much more crisp and vibrant on an LCD. The images on this screen just look so much more "solid" compared to on a CRT screen. Playing 3D games such as Quake 3 on this monitor is very nice, it is brighter and more vibrant then on a CRT."

"The 570V TFT is an affordable option as flat panel displays go - sitting at about $800CDN. While power saving points brought about by the 25W power usage will not have a big impact for most of us, it may something business users should take note of."
