THE GOOD: Ease of setup Flexibility with native AGP and PCIe and socket M2 Stability even during a 30% overclock (A64/3200+ venice from 2Ghz to 2.6 Ghz and can go further yet) Again...rock solid stability
THE BAD: Lack of manufaturer hardware monitoring software Long reach from IDE connector to top CD Rom Unable to get Linux to recognise the onboard LAN interface (have used simple PCI nic without trouble) nothing else
SUMMARY: I bought this board at its budget price with the view that if it didn't work or was unstable I would just replace it with and ASUS A8V deluxe or the like.
This board has been superb in all aspects of it setup, running and overclocking so far.
I also installed decent RAM (Corsair Value Select)which I am sure has benefited the overclocking ability.
Straight off the bat I overclocked the FSB to 260 without a glitch and it was stable during all testing and benchmarking.
I have yet to test the SATA interface and I have had trouble getting Linux to detect the onboard LAN interface...other than that I could not be happier with the mobo especially given its budget price.
