    What is JBOD?
    ANSWER

JBOD stands for "Just a Bunch of Disks" or "Just a Bunch of Drives".

This is basically a storage method where multiple disks in an array are just treated as a single contiguous volume by the operating system.

Note that unlike true RAID configurations, JBOD does not offer any fault tolerance or performance benefits.
