Although I agreed that it was helpfull there is also much confusion about the difference between Mbps and MBps and the convention of representing these units. I know that there is 8Mbps or 8mbps in one MBps or Mbps.......see what I mean.
Really just an abreviation of an abreaviation Mbit/ps to MByte/ps that in the above 'case' is very important, and if in doubt, useless.
