| Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 Review reported at 02:14 PM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: techPowerUp! |
 | Article Quote: Sapphire's Radeon HD 5750 is a worthy addition to the new HD 5000 Series lineup. Even though it might not win any beauty contest against AMD's reference design HD 5770, which comes with a very stylish modern looking cooler, it can score high on all other criteria. Performance is decent, sitting right between the HD 4850 and HD 4870. Due to its more power efficient design it can take leading spots in idle power consumption and performance per Watt. If you spend most of your day at the desktop idle, working office apps or surfing the Web, the ~20W saved might be able to make quite a difference over time. It should also be noted that even though the cooler looks neither sexy nor powerful it offers excellent cooling performance, which allows Sapphire to run at very quiet fan speeds, offering a very enjoyable work and gaming experience with their new HD 5750. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| AMD Athlon II X3 435 Review reported at 02:01 PM |
| category: Socket AM3 CPUs website: Techware Labs |
 | Article Quote: The Athlon II X3 435 is ideal for small businesses on a budget that still want to eek out as much performance as they can from their workstations. The best part about the Athlon II X3 is that as with many AMD products you have a clear upgrade path should you desire more performance down the road. The 453 will not break the bank while being more than capable for both consumer, business, and gamer. AMD has managed to produce a produce with a lower price point than a quad core processor while delivering more performance than a dual core. Considering the overclocking ability of the Athlon II X3 435 AMD has even managed to squeeze in the enthusiast market as a viable audience. Truly a processor for the masses deserves our TechwareLabs Approved Hardware Award. | | more info: ·more p/reviews |
| HIS Radeon HD 5850 Review reported at 01:57 PM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: Tweak Town |
 | Article Quote: We're not really seeing anything too different with the HIS version of the HD 5850, though. With that said, we really don't need to see anything new; out of the box the HD 5850 in its reference form is a great card and that's exactly what we've got on our hands today.
The good news as well is that if you want a bit of extra power later down the track, adding a second HD 5850 really does yield some impressive performance gains which make it an attractive option. For now, though, if you're looking for just a single HD 5850 the HIS version we have with us today doesn't give us anything to complain about. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB Review reported at 01:38 PM |
| category: IDE Hard Drives website: HardwareCanucks |
 | Article Quote: We can go on and on about how good this pricey drive is, but in the end we think that the best thing we can say about is we have never loved a hard drive as much. If you are looking at the VelociRaptor and can justify $300 for a hard disk drive, yet don’t want to leap onto the SSD bandwagon until it proves itself a bit more, THIS is the drive you want. Seriously, forget about the VelociRaptor line and spend your hard earned dollars on the Western Digital 2TB Black. We’re still pulling our jaws off the floor at its performance. For that and so many other reasons, it receives out Dam Good Award. | | more info: ·more p/reviews Lowest prices check |

| AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition C3 Review reported at 01:35 PM |
| category: Socket AM3 CPUs website: PC Stats |
 | Article Quote: If you're looking to build an entirely new PC from the ground up the choice is a little more complicated... Intel Core i5 or Core i7 PCs can be pricy to build but have their benefits too, of late that being early SATA 6Gbs adoption and USB 3.0 on a few Intel P55 motherboards released this fall. No AMD platform currently offers either of these two features as of this writing. That being said, you know what's best for your PC needs so don't be drawn into perpetual peripheral envy if you don't actually need SATA 6G. You owe it yourself to give the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition (125W) some consideration, it could very well have all the processing muscle you'll need. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Review reported at 01:30 PM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: Hi-Techreviews |
 | Article Quote: After having ran the Sapphire HD 5770 CrossfireX setup for over a week I have to say that I am more than pleased with it's performance. Being able to play some of the current range of games on the market today without lag is a real treat. Also watching the Heaven Benchmark which uses DirectX 11 is also something to behold especially when the with the speed that the dual HD 5770's provide. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition C3 Review reported at 01:24 PM |
| category: Socket AM3 CPUs website: PC Perspective |
 | Article Quote: Taking the X4 965 down to 125 watts TDP is also a big win for AMD. A lot of major OEMs look down on CPUs that are above 125 watts for many desktop setups. Having to add a lot of cooling to a design to handle higher TDPs is a simple fact of life, but most manufacturers do not want to spend the time and money doing just that. While my real world tests did not show a huge decrease in actual “at the wall” power, it is enough to make manufacturers take a second look at AMD’s offerings. When the lower speed/lower power offerings start hitting, we hopefully will see more pickup on the Phenom II X3 and X4 scene. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
