| Corsair Obsidian 800D Review reported at 04:08 PM |
| category: Computer Cases/Enclosures website: techPowerUp! |
 | Article Quote: Those expecting am uncompromising full-aluminum front without that slight cheat may find this to be a deal breaker. Even with these little kinks, the Obsidian 800D is a worthy player in the high-end, full tower segment and I am looking forward to future cases from Corsair. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| Corsair Obsidian 800D Review reported at 04:06 PM |
| category: Computer Cases/Enclosures website: Guru3d |
 | Article Quote: The Corsair Obsidian series 800D chassis is hitting the stores right now with the estimated price tag of around $299 / € 225 - You'll receive a full 2-year warranty. Yes, I am rarely this excited about a chassis, so there's only one thing left to do on our side. I handed it out maybe once or two times this year only... the award for best hardware. Well deserved, what a pleasure it was to review gear like this. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| Gigabyte GeForce GT 220 Review reported at 03:15 PM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: Bjorn3D |
 | Article Quote: There are many things that you can say about the Gigabyte GT220. The card itself is clearly a budget card that will not be able to max out all of the latest games, but you have to look past this. The card really had no issue running any games at a decent resolution. The card's cooling is most definitely first rate. The cooler is simply massive for this kind of card. The fan is also huge, so it is able to push more air while running quieter than the stock fan.
The card did not overclock all that well, but the extra performance you gain from it is free, so you might as well overclock the card some. Something not really addressed in the review was the ability to use this card as a PhysX card. While it may be a little lacking in power, the card certainly has the ability. This would also be the perfect card for a HTPC. The card is small, and runs cool so you should have no issues with this card in a tight HTPC case. These features really make this card quite diverse. | | more info:·neoprofile |
| Dynatron Genius G950 Review reported at 02:49 PM |
| category: CPU Coolers website: Overclockers Club |
 | Article Quote: If you were in the market for a new cooler for your processor that operates at quite a low noise level and is going to be able to out perform the stock Intel HSF, you may want to take a look at the Dynatron Genius CPU Cooler. | | more info:·neoprofile |
| ECS P55H-A Review reported at 12:52 PM |
| category: Socket 1156 Motherboards website: Phoronix |
 | Article Quote: To summarize the ECS Elitegroup P55H-A, this is a cost effective motherboard (only about $120 USD) that is CrossFire compatible (albeit with PCI-E x8 bandwidth), offers eSATA and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, is compatible with the LGA-1156 Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs, and its Linux performance is comparable to that of the Intel DP55KG, which costs nearly twice as much at over $200. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| NZXT Beta EVO Review reported at 12:51 PM |
| category: Computer Cases/Enclosures website: Techware Labs |
 | Article Quote: I feel the increased fan options in conjunction with the bottom mounted power supply and the cable management truly make this case worth the extra ten dollars. With an average price of $46-$54 (at the time of this article) the Beta Evo packs a serious punch for the price or better yet lack there of.
As a side note, while I maintain that the case is worth the extra few dollars over the standard Beta, the singular fan is still insufficient for keeping most systems cool. NZXT’s more open design did prove to be an issue with dust and pet hair, this problem was by no means unmanageable however it was worth noting. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition C3 Review reported at 12:40 PM |
| category: Socket AM3 CPUs website: Bjorn3D |
 | Article Quote: The Phenom 2 X4 965 BE, with it's clock speed of 3.4 GHz, the fastest frequency Quad out of the box, has great performance, platform wise a great value, and it's unlocked multiplier makes it a snap to overclock. With it's lower TDP of 125w it'll be a little easier on your electric bill and provides the same performance as it's higher wattage brother so it scores a 9 out of 10 and the Golden Bear Award. | | more info:·neoprofile ·more p/reviews |
| Kingston HyperX PC3-12800 Kit Review reported at 12:36 PM |
| category: DDR3 Memory website: Overclockers Club |
 | Article Quote: The KHX1600C9D3K2/4G kit of memory might not come with all the bells and whistles that some other kits include, but they are solid performers that I would recommend to all but the most demanding overclockers. | | more info: ·more p/reviews |
