Normally I expect an anime's title, when referring to a single character, to be in some way related to the anime's story itself. Although it is here, it takes some time to figure out.
At first glance, the main character, Nanako, doesn't appear to be a nurse but more a maid/housekeeper. After all, she doesn't dress like a nurse and really doesn't take care of patients...and she's too clumsy to be a nurse! She basically seems to be there for the purposes of fanservice & comedy relief despite being somewhat important to the storyline.
While this volume is quite funny and there are some good sci-fi/action sequences, it does fall short of what I expected by looking at the packaging & description. Some of the animation, especially the opening credits, looks a little like a rush job.
Whilt it's not a "pass on it" volume, there's not much worth sitting through it for except storyline continuity. It does get a little better after this, though. Just don't expect that "Amazing Nurse" yet-more like "Clumsy Housekeeper".
