THE GOOD: The plot, The Characters, The Music, The Actors and the atmoshere.
THE BAD: Nothing, this movie is PERFECTION.
SUMMARY: I just cant get enough of this movie. This movie has changed my life completely, I mean this is the movie that made me realise that there is a better alternate no Hollywood! Japanese Cinema is the answer! First of all I would like to congratulate Kinji *bleep*asaku (who passed away during the making of Battle Royale II)on making this masterpiece. Now my favourite part of the movie was the whole controversial idea of putting teenagers on an island to make them kill each other in three days, and were talking about 15 year olds here. This is one of the things that so many people found disturbing, but it also gives us a good point. The Characters involved are each given their own story and some have no background at all. Kiriyama pops to mind as he is the main "Bad guy" in this movie. He volunteered to take part in this and takes sick enjoyment out of murdering the people involved. We also have the main character Shuya who refuses to fight no matter what the cost, as he has lost his best friend Nobu. But as the film progresses he finds he simply has no choice as his friends have changed and have turned on themselves. So him and a friend try and find a way to escape. Even though they have a necklace on and if they try to remove it they will be killed. And the rule that only ONE can survive and if there is more left at the end they will all be killed. But they aren’t the only ones trying to escape. There are another group trying to escape and sadly they succeed in finding an escape but get murdered near to the end. Then we come to the pupils who realise they must turn against their friends to survive and then go on an all out attack to kill every last person so that they will survive. Then I come to the character KITANO. One of my favourites as Kitano is out for revenge as this was the class who made his life hell when he was a teacher. He fully agrees with what is happening and encourages more carnage. And the story is more than I can describe as there is more shocks. But I wont say them as this is a film you all should see. Well not all, kids should definitely steer clear until their a little older as they wont understand the plot as well as adults. And finally I close up with saying that this is truly one of the greatest movies ever made. People disagree but even more would agree. This is not a movie for everyone. But the people who can understand it will appreciate it for what it is: A MASTERPEICE. 10/10
