Defiance

Tuvia, Zus and Asael Bielski (Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell) are three Jewish in Poland who witness the Nazis invasion of their country. They quickly escape into the Belarussian forest and eventually hook up with the Russian resistance. Discovering that they can somewhat safely elude the Nazis in the woods, they round up as many people as they can and build an ersatz village that eventually houses over 1,200 Jews. Based on a true story.
