Story

Set 25 years in the future, Ted (Josh Radnor) tells his children the story of how he met their mother. It all starts when Ted's best friends, Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan), become engaged. With a new perspective and a sense of urgency, Ted sets out to find his soul mate. Coming to his aid in the matter is Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), a highly opinionated, self-styled Casanova with a healthy obsession for suits.
