Story

In the year Cosmic Era 70, humans have been divided into two groups: Naturals & genetically enhanced Coordinators. Tensions are high, escaated further by the "Bloody Valentine Tragedy", which ignited a war, which after 11 months is now at a standstill. To keep up with technology developed by Coordinators and their alliance, ZAFT, the Earth Alliance develops 5 Gundam Mobile Suits. When Coordinator Kira Yamato stumbles across one such Gundam, He finds himself turned against his own kind and his best friend fighting to save the Alliance.
