Well I just started coming back to Neoseeker after I had a bit of well, a downright crap past with this website since I made this account 5+ years ago when I was really young and was generally a douche to everyone. Anyways, that's behind me now and I have some posting to catch up on.

My question is, is it frowned upon to post a lot, as long as my posts contain no spam at all and contribute to the topic? I just think that it would look sort of "funny" to other users if my name started showing for the most recent post in each topic down the list.

Don't worry, it isn't a bad thing to post a lot, as long as it is contributing to the discussion and the like. Now if it gets to the point where you are flooding, then it isn't okay.

Hi Dan, and welcome back to Neoseeker. I hope you enjoy your stay this time around.

There are rules again flooding in the forums, which basically asks that members attempt not to fill up pages for the sake of seeing your name next to every thread, or to hog the stats of a forum. In essence, it's related more to spamming up an entire forum. If you do have something worthwhile to share in several threads, by all means, make your contributions. There's a few forums on this site which have a member who is particularly active there, and because they are generally helpful or positive, it's perfectly fine and they have nothing to worry about.

Since you seem to have posted mostly in Loungin' or around a bit, I don't think you will have to worry too much about flooding a forum in any way, especially since making a worthwhile post makes it difficult to have more than two or three threads with your name at the end of them in that forum anyways. If you are still worried with what's going on, whether it's about this question or anything else with the rules, feel free to take it up with the moderator of the forum and get their take on it, as Neoseeker has a diverse usergroup, most of us mod in many different ways. As you can see at the top of this forum, Superfast Oz could be contacted about responding to threads in this forum. For forums such as the one linked above, you can go to the section, which would be RPG for that one (as seen in the blue link bar in every forum page) and you will see that it's moderated by myself and my comoderator, Kjgmusic. In general, however, responding to several helpful threads turns them into valuable resources, which no one is going to frown on. Generally, Neoseeker is fairly open with what is allowed compared to most boards.

You'll find that Neoseeker has come quite a way and gained quite a few features since you were last here, I hope you find something to divert yourself with.
