Air Dodging

I think Air Dodging sucks in Brawl. In Melee, you could air dodge in any direction you wanted, and your character hovered in the air while doing so. This was perfect for actually dodging attacks that were thrown at you in midair.

In Brawl, you can no longer do this. Your character merely sidesteps in midair and keeps falling even as he or she is dodging. Sure, you can air dodge multiple times now, and you can still use your Up B move after if you need to recover, but I just can't seem to get used to the fact that you can't Air Dodge in a direction anymore.

Thoughts?

meh i only use the air dodge in melee for wavedashing. in brawl it seems quite improved and i rarely get juggled any more....

I think air dodging is better. I couldn't count the times I died in Melee because I accidently air dodged off the edge of Final Destination. A little movement is a fair sacrifice for multiple air dodges.

Also this means wavedashing is gone too. Thank god.

Air Dodge worse heresy! It's much better since air dodge no longer counts as a recovery. This means you can air dodge when coming back if someone tries to kill you before you make it back to the stage and still giving you your recovery move.

Also yes it removes wave dashing which is good for people who don't want a messed up game. As it created unnatural movements for the characters.
