Anyone still use this seemingly ancient form of recording device? What with DVDs and Blu-ray being technologically superior, is anyone still living in the dark ages of the humble VHS?

I have a few movies on VHS, and a camcorder that records on VHS as well. We have loads of old and blank tapes in a box in our coat closet.

I still use it. I don't have a recordable DVD player.

My dad still watches VSH movies rented from the library.

Well, we generally just use VHS to record something on TV. We have a few decent movies in the closet, too (Jurassic Park, the Mummy, etc). I tend to use DVD much more for movies, for obvious reasons. With all the features DVDs have (most importantly, scene selection and the various fast-forwards), it's a pain to use a cassette.

I still frequentely "use" one VHS tape... But I'll leave it at that, cheers...

I'm pretty sure we got rid of all of our VHS tapes...But I kept one for myself that I plan to sell several years down the road. The first episode of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Day of The Dumpster !!!!! It's gonna be worth millions one day...maybe even billions.

Thats 'bout it

I use my VHS player to record shows and to hook up my game systems to save some space. When I feel bored I find a VHS tape and watch it, especially saying that some VHS tapes we don't have on DVD.

I have a few Disney movies on VHS I watched as a toddler in the days before we had cable...good times.

I use my PS3 to play those.

I have like 30 VHS movies and I watch them from time to time. I like to escape modern world.

I think I still have Lion King in VHS.
