    League A:
    League B:

Cup Final Results:
    League A:
      Arsenal 0 - 2 Newcastle United

      4' Nihat
      86' Nihat

      Nihat
      My Flamini

      It was truly a great game. Both teams deserved to win, but Newcastle edged it out with Nihat on top form. Newcastle scored their first goal when Nihat latched onto the ball on the right wing, took it all way to the edge of the 18 yards and powered it into the back of the net. It was a very close match from there, Arsenal were looking deadly at times with height from Benzema and Oscar Cardozo but couldn't finish anything. In the 84th minute, Nihat finished off the game when he intercepted a ball on the right wing, took on four players and got to the edge of the box and slotted it in.
    League B:
      Real Madrid 2-1 Barcelona

      7' Henry
      50' Van der Vaart
      69' Ballack

      Sneijder
      My Ballack

      Yellow Card: Schweinsteiger

      Minor Injury: Nesta

      Real Madrid completed a league and cup double in impressive fashion as their midfield dominated the game. They were behind after only 7' though, Thierry Henry sliding home after holding off Nesta. Their lead could have been doubled when Iniesta tried his luck from range only for the ball to clip the outside of the post on its way wide. The second half started on a sour note, as Schweinsteiger was booked for a bad tackle on Nesta. From then Real dominated, a free-kick from inside their own half was lofted up to the box and it eventually fell to Sneijder who played a 1-2 with Ballack before finding van der Vaart who drilled low into the bottom corner. Ballack got the winner 20 minutes from time with a corner that seemed to come off the training ground. Played towards the penalty spot, Van Nistelrooy headed back to the edge of the box where Ballack was lurking to drill it through a crowded penalty are and past Kuzczak. Henry had the chance to take the game into extra time but his late free-kick clipped the wall and went just wide.

NeoPES Manager's League - Important Links Post

Posts you need to read to know what is going on.

Your tactics
    As a manager in the league, one of your main priorities should be finding a formation and set of tactics that will allow your team to win games. Will you opt for a Mourinho-esque 4-3-3, or do you prefer the good old 4-4-2? Or are you a bit mad, and want to try something like 3-3-4 with a sweeper and two wing forwards? Only you can decide, and it is your tactics that will have a massive influence over your team's results in the games.

    Using a tool such as Violent's Formation Creator will allow you to demonstrate to us, the thread organisers, the tactics you wish to use with great ease.

    Managers in other leagues such as the Super League tend to have a post in one of the threads as their team's post, and put up information such as squad numbers, formations and transfer dealings and transfer lists in one easy to access post and then link to it in their signatures for ease.

Probably biggest deal this season.

Eto'o --> Newcastle United
£15m --> Sevilla

Eto'o >>> Newcastle
£15m >>> Sevilla

Eto'o, Ibrahimovic, Nihat, Shevchenko, Van Nistelrooy. Now that's what I call a strikeforce .

Yeah, it's a Forward line you don't want to mess with, but who to pick is the question? But I think you'll miss Adriano, I mean Eto'o is good, but Adriano fitted the side you used better. But we'll just wait and see.

I'm going to use Ibra through the middle of my front three - Eto'o will give me more pace on the left, with Hatters on the right doing his thing. With Diarra adding steel in the middle, and Pirlo adding creativity, then with either Aimar or Rosina giving me some pace and dribbling, my team is looking very strong. Then I've got Zambrotta bombing on down the right and Del Horno on the left side, and with Buffon in goal and Terry plus Cannavaro/Ayala not much will go in.

Now watch as all my plans come undone and I languish in mid-table .

re: NeoPES Manager's League VIII

Crap, just realised your team. But will the same thing happen as last season; your players won't play well together.

I've got big decision time now, I've got around 40m(ish) and i've got to use my money smartly. I think I've strengthened my defence up in some places, but I'm looking to strengthen it even more. This season it's the oppisite IMO, I need forwards. Hopefully I'll do some smart signings outside the League to try and save some cash and buy some good players within the league.
